A formidable dupe.
I have religiously been using Drunk Elephant Protini for a little over a year. It’s an amazing product and worked wonders for my combination acne prone skin. I’ve recently gotten to the point where pulling the trigger on a $68 product every 2-2.5 months is a little too much. I started looking for dupes and ended up ordering a different product that had a similar multi peptide blend and was fragrance free, but it was not silicone free. That product wreaked havoc on my skin within a couple of uses. I was broken out in tiny whiteheads all over my face and had gnarly dry patches along my chin, jaw, and cheeks. I went back to the drawing board and came across the Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream. I remembered hearing about it in the past but didn’t realize how similar it actually is. If you compare the ingredients between this and Protini, they are about 91% the same. The differing ingredients are at the bottom of the list and likely are the ones that effect the texture. The Drunk Elephant is more of a gel cream consistency while the Acure is a rich whipped cream. While I do love the gel consistency of the Drunk Elephant, I also really like the consistency of the Acure, and as someone with an oily tzone, I don’t find it overly greasy at all. It works for me morning and night. I honestly love this product. Within a couple uses of it, my skin went back to normal (from the disaster that the cream I tried prior caused). I find the effects similar if not exactly the same to the Drunk Elephant. It keeps me moisturized and evens my skin tone, and doesn’t break me out (it is silicone and fragrance free as Protini is). I will say that the one thing I couldn’t reconcile between the two products was the packaging. The airless pump delivery of the Drunk Elephant is far superior to the squeeze tube of the Acure, so I jumped back on Amazon and ordered a 1.7 oz airless pump. I just used it for the first time with the pump and it worked beautifully. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to save some money on the Protini. I don’t miss it at all and will continue to buy the Acure for as long as it’s available.

Nice moisturizing texture, no harsh chemicals
Nice thick texture. Soothing without harsh chemicals or fragrance. Very moisturizing. A pea size amount covers my entire face, with maybe a little extra for neck and chest coverage.

My Favorite Moisturizer!! Consistency problems...?
This has been my favorite moisturizer for over a year, and this is the first time I've ever bought it on Amazon. In the pic I uploaded, from left to right, the bottles are: 1. Bought in person at Whole Foods (late 2019, maybe early 2020), 2. Ordered directly from Acure's website (summer 2020), and 3. Ordered from Amazon (early February 2021). The first one I bought in person and the one I bought from Amazon are basically identical-- the packaging is about the same, and the consistency and smell of the product is the same (thick, kind of a strange scent). The scent is probably off-putting to some people, but it works really well! I actually love that they don't try to cover up the natural scent of the product with fragrance because my skin is really sensitive to fragrances. The one I ordered directly from Acure is very slightly smaller than the other two, the cap is opaque instead of translucent, the product's consistency is a lot thinner, and it has less of a scent. However I'm pretty sure that all of these three moisturizers are completely legit despite the consistency discrepancies (probably made in different factories), and I like all of them!! I think I prefer the thinner consistency the most because it resembles Protini by DE but I'm happy with any of them because they all work so nicely on my face. Super moisturizing and keeps my skin clear. I actually started buying this because it was supposed to be similar to Drunk Elephant Protini... I'm not sure if I'd say they're that similar, especially if you receive the thicker version. But they both do beautiful things to my skin, and this one's way cheaper!! I love it and I'll keep buying this as long as it's in stock. I just wish Acure would try to fix the consistency problems though-- I think it's making people feel scared that they're buying fake products.

Not a perfect dupe for Protini but still pretty solid
I grabbed this hoping it’d be a good alternative to Drunk Elephant’s Protini (because let’s be real, that price tag is wild), and while it’s not an exact dupe, it’s honestly pretty nice. The texture is super rich and whipped, feels really luxe going on, and it keeps my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day. (Yes, I wear it during the day!) Ingredient-wise, it’s got some great stuff so it sounds like a high-end cream, and the fact that it’s vegan and cruelty-free is a bonus. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a little heavy for my combo skin and caused a couple tiny breakouts at first. I feel like if you have dry skin, you’ll probably love it. But if you’re oily or acne-prone, just patch test before going all in. TLDR: It’s not Protini, but it’s still a really good moisturizer for the price.

Loved this product before acne breakout
Loved this product for 6 weeks until I experienced an acne breakout and I do not have or get acne. Very moisturizing, can be used at bedtime or in the morning (does not pill), has little to no fragrance (good for sensitive skin), multiple peptides for good skin and collagen health, BUT at the bottom of the ingredients list is coconut oil. I missed this. While Coconut oil is moisturizing, it also clogs pores and causes acne. Coconut and avocado oil are comedogenic (grade 4) and should never be applied to acne prone areas. I loved this moisturizer until I didn't. I wish you offered this product without coconut oil. There are many other oils that are moisturizing and do not clog pores. Please consider making. Thank you!

Non-greasy hydration - so hard to find!
This night cream lasts all night and I love the light scent (even though I don't generally like fragrances). I appreciate the low-plastic packaging. I do wish it came in a larger size. It works well with other products in this same line - the serum and eye cream in particular.

Very Impressed
Wow! I currently use the DE P moisturizer but decided to buy this cream to use at night to extend the life of my DE one (since it's soo expensive) and because I read other reviews that said that the Acure version was thicker and richer. I am so impressed with the Acure cream. The peptides included in the ingredients are identical to those found in the DE one. What I love about this cream is that it contains antioxidants like Ferulic acid and Vitamin C. The Acure cream is indeed thicker in texture but it blends and sinks into the skin nicely without leaving any stickiness. It is emollient enough for my combination skin and kept it well moisturized throughout the night. When I woke up, my skin was radiant and plump. Whereas the DE cream is scentless, the Acure version smells slightly acidic or sour. But honestly, it doesn't bother me that much. This doesn't have carbomer in it like the DE one does which is an acrylic or silicone-like substitute. For the price the Acure cream is hands down a winner. ***EDIT: I'm not sure what to make of this product anymore. Although it makes my skin brighter, I noticed that it's been drying my skin out and actually exacerbates my fine lines and texture. This product just doesn't seem moisturizing enough and something in it is very drying--may be the concentration of Ferulic Acid or Salicylic acid.
