Not for Nurses
Battery is too bulky for active ER Nursing care. Battery only lasts 5-6 hours (mosty 5.5 hours), and is very heavy. Sitting in a chair is a challenge, and having to change the battery during a busy shift is almost impossible. Additionally, you have to use a wrench to remove and replace battery (one battery costs $850). Overall, not for ER nurses, I would consider purchasing another unit with a lighter, more compact battery with a upper back or side battery holder of some sort. Note to 3M, hire nurse consultants to design a unit for nurses; there is a large maket within the nursing community.
