Perfect replacement for Razor Drifter Go Kart
I bought this to replace a burned out motor on my son's Razor Drifter Go Kart. Just need to remove the plastic clip from the old one, the connectors can be disengaged and slide out by using a small flathead screwdriver. Move over the black sleeve that protects the wiring while you are at it. The only difficulty was that the motor mount is painted after the mounting holes are threaded. You need to clean them out or risk cross-threading the holes and screws. Ideally, do this with a tap/thread chaser. If you don't have that try a "rat tail" brush or gently run the screws through before trying to mount the motor. Be careful to not damage the threads.

Razor Pocket Mod
Bought this motor as a direct replacement for the 24 VDC motor in a Razor Pocket Mod scooter. Windings on the old motor's stator had burned out and needed replacing. This motor is an exact replacement, so fitment was perfect and the scooter drives once more.

Wires severed but motor worked good
The product came with severed wires, but I had some solder and heat shrink so it wasn’t too big of an issue, the motor is working great so far.

Note about the motor shaft...
This is a solid motor and runs good on 12v also if you need lower RPMs (only draws 1 amp at 12v with no load). If you intend to put a timing pulley, pinion or any other kind of mechanical interface on this shaft instead of using the chain sprocket that comes on it, then at first it may appear that the usable 8mm portion of the shaft is a miniscule 3.5mm long. Luckily this is not the case, there is just a bushing that you need to remove to gain access to the full 8mm shaft length. Once the bushing is removed you have 21mm of usable shaft (the portion which does not have threads at the end).

Seems good so far
I have not tested under load yet. Plan to use as bike powered generator. I suspect that the gear and internal bearing will take quite a load. I have no idea what these were made for. It would be interesting. The shaft is not 10 mm but is 12 mm. If you plan remove the gear and use a coupling, get a 12 mm to what ever shaft you are connecting to. The gear is 11 teeth and 25 pitch as listed. The base holes are 8 x 1 metric thread. 25 pitch chain is available. This is smaller than bike chain. At 13 volts is draws .75 amps. With slight load the amperage goes up fast. I will ad more as I play with it.

you're going to lose your money
It only worked for a total of three hours, then it got hot and stopped every 2 minutes, it's a waste of money and Amazon never takes responsibility for these scam sellers.

Works as described
I purchased 2 motors, and they both work really good. The bad part was the poor packaging. The red wire on one motor was badly pinched almost looked like the wire was broken inside of the insulation.

Operates quietly. A replacement 1/2 " pitch sprocket is available on Amazon. Original sprocket comes off easily after remembering it is a left hand thread! New sprocket is a 410 type (only 1/8 " wide), and not so useful. I bought a second one and installed them back to back, creating a 40,41,420 compatible width. See pictures.

Converted my 2010 Trek 3700 to an pedal assist ebike with this motor. I thought I would try the 250W first I am only 120lbs, and the mid-drive setup allows me to change gears...and it seems to be working very well so far! Super quiet, only noise is really the extra chain. I had to get a different sprocket, 410 sprocket or something, to run a bike chain, but that was on Amazon for $10. I use it with an inexpensive LB27 controller and just a small 24V 7ah battery right now. Now that I know everything works, I will be upgrading the battery. Total cost of conversion, with the small battery, was about $160...very happy with that! I have a permanent leg injury and this makes it barely noticable when biking now! I am now thinking of other projects that could benefit from this motor!

This motor performed exactly as I needed. Running a small air compressor cylinder.
