VCR Rewinder Forward & Reverse & Counter

Works great! But Spectrum (Rochester, NYarea) has gone all digital, and not sure I will be able to record anymore??? Bummer!!

It did not work as expected. Too noisy. I've had a re-winder before, and this one was inferior. Sent it back and requested a different one.

This is a really good little machine...it rewinds AND fast forwards through a VHS tape. It isn't terribly fast, but fast enough. The one drawback I have found, is that when it gets to either end of the tape, it often doesn't stop and automatically pop up the tape like it is supposed to. This one that I bought is to replace an identical one I had since 1997...it only gave up working (actually just rewinding, it still went forward) last year. It would have kept working if the shut off mechanism worked more often. I would forget about it, and comeback 15 - 30 minutes later only to hear the motor straining because the door didn't pop up. I looked around for a better machine, and many are very expensive for what they are...and many ONLY rewind! I relocated this machine to my studio (I transfer VHS to digital for clients) so it is near me as I use it...when the tape is finished winding, I am there to hit the button if it fails to automatically pop the door open. Don't walk away from this machine while you are using it and it will last for a long time...

Supposedly a "like new" item was far from it.The lid when closed initiates the rewind process but it rarely closes.The rewind ends abruptly and has torn off two tapes from their spindles.A total waste of money.
