It got here on time and I hooked it up and it is doing what it should, and it works better than the old one.The old one passed away peacefully yesterday evening after many years of service.If this one lasts as long I will be retired and it can be someone else's problem.That is why I wanted a first class pump and Little Giant has always been the best.

Purchased this pump to replace the old pump that was blowing the 1amp fuse in my CRC smart washer sw23. Works great, lots of flow. No longer blowing pump fuse and way cheaper that getting from CRC.

I bought this to replace the pump in my Harbor Freight solvent tank. By replace, I mean the HF pump that comes with the tank is garbage and froze after 2 weeks even with the most gentle of cleaners. So I am now utilizing a separate drain barrel with the pump under the tank and working great for a month so far. I do expect this pump to last simply because it made for better chemicals like kerosene.Instructions are a bit unclear so you need some basic knowledge of how to hook it up. instructions say to use liquid tight metal conduit, I would love to know where to find the fittings and everything because no one carries that. Use iron/galv pipe with sealant for the elect run. As for the flow outlet, the size and thread is the same as a sink line. A pex outlet would have been better, the threaded end is plastic and strips easily, be careful.

Replaces the cheap Harbor Freight pump.See the attached video for my installation into the Harbor Freight parts washer.Installation Notes: The valve above the oil filter serves 2 purposes. 1) Keeps the fluid from siphoning out when you change oil filters. 2) Allows you to adjust the flow rate from full-blast down to a dribble. The full-blast flow rate from this pump is actually so strong that it can cause splashing. Dialing it back just a bit with the valve makes for a much neater operation.Not shown on video. I drilled 3/16 holes in the base of the washer legs to screw the legs to the dolly. Drill these holes while the washer is upside down before you fill it up with solvent. Also, I replaced all fiber lock-nuts and machine screws in the switch box with aircraft grade hardware. Make sure you reinstall two good grounds inside the switch box. I re-crimped high quality lugs onto the ground wires and used solder.The Little Giant pump works great. The big unknown is long-term durability. I will followup on this.UPDATE June 18, 2018: Little Giant pump continues to work perfectly. Output flow remains strong. Original solvent in the tank is now dark from old oil and grease forming on bottom of tank... however, the filtered fluid passing through the oil filter comes out of the flexible nozzle clean and almost clear. This is a great modification!UPDATE July 15, 2021: Still running strong. No issues after 5 years.UPDATE December 2023: Still running strong after 7 years.

Works well, claims to be petroleum resistant. So far, so good. Of the two pumps I tried, this and the original, 30 year old Harbor Freight pump, they deliver plenty of solvent.However, neither pump has the power to flow properly through the giant, diesel truck OIL Filter, I installed inline. It's the filter, not the pump's fault. I might try a less restrictive filter, to keep the solvent clean.No complaint about this pump.
