Birkenstock unisex-adult Molded

I bought these sandals because I've seen others with the EVA Birkenstocks and thought: Those look comfortable, cool, and they would be ideal for the pool/beach. I live in a climate where it's probably only acceptable to wear sandals from late April to early October - and I do so every minute of that time, I am constantly fantasizing that I live in a Jimmy Buffet song. Most of that time is spent in my Birkenstock Milano Habana Oiled Leather sandals. However, there's just times when it's not appropriate to wear those - and it's typically any time where there's a good amount of water involved, and therein lies the problem: How can I get that Birkenstock feel and not ruin my $130 sandals? In comes the Birkenstock EVA. The Sandals are everything you'd expect from the cork Birkenstock counterparts, however they're simply this great plastic material. Super light weight and 100% waterproof. Perfect for the pool, the beach, or really anywhere. These actually look good when I wear an outfit and I need to compliment a white shirt or white watch band. I can't say enough good things about these sandals really. One thing these are for sure is bold. The white is a bright white color - like bright white. What is interesting is that the men's sizes aren't typically available in white on the major retailer sites that sell the EVA Birks. I turned to Amazon and found these for the same price and easily available within a day on Prime. My one concern is that being bright white, they show the slightest stain. I am going to take them in and give them a light wash in the sink - I suspect they will look like new again. If you're on the fence about these - get them. You will likely not regret this purchase, especially if you're a Birkenstock fan.

I really was hesitant in purchasing 'plastic' sandals, but I'm very impressed. They really do have the Birkenstock arch support and are wet area friendly. Using mine for walking in yard when wet (which over the years ruined my original Birkenstock cork sandals), and going swimming/shower shoes. I only wish they had this in a Narrow width.
