Skin Revealing Body Lotion 10% AHA, Glycolic Acid & Shea Butter Exfoliant, Moisturizer for Keratosis Pilaris (KP) Prone Skin, 7 Ounce

I’ve been using Paula’s Choice lotion for about 2 weeks and when I put the lotion on this morning it was the first time in over 7 years that I didn’t have any KP bumps. I suffered with eczema as a young person but grew out of it. In my 50’s-60’s sometime I started with KP Bumps. I have not been able to find anything that works on them until now. I just can’t believe that I don’t have a single breakout. I get them on my arms and shoulders and my back so every morning I have been applying the lotion. I noticed right away that my skin felt very smooth and soft and I liked the feeling of the lotion because it’s not greasy and moisturized my skin nicely. I had no skin irritation which I have to be careful of and it’s unscented and not sticky on my hands. It’s a great, GREAT value for the money. Try it I think if you suffer with skin problems, especially KP Bumps you will like this lotion and I hope it works for you like it has for me.

I didn't know there was much you could do for KP - I have it on both arms and am pretty self-conscious about it. When I talked to my doctor, she recommended one of the AHA lotions like Amlactin. I ordered a sample and didn't care for the smell (which I was okay with if it worked) - but it didn't seem to sink into my skin and I didn't notice any difference. I love Paula's Choice facial products and saw this, read the reviews, and thought I'd try it. It's the SH*T. I noticed improvement in ONE day. The smell isn't noticeable, it's lightweight and absorbs well, my arms are softer and look better in general and the bumps are gone! I still some red dots but they're completely smooth and I've only been using off and on for about a month. I just put it on at night and the next day - all day - my arms look great. Even my hubby noticed. I sometimes switch it up and use the 2% BHA w/ Salicylic acid - I heard both work for KP. So far I'm happy with both the AHA/BHA body lotions. **I even use a very light layer on my face and neck once a week or so - avoiding eyes etc** I'm so excited this actually works - I got so discouraged reading reviews for amlactin and others like it - but sure enough, Paula's Choice gets it right.

I just got this product yesterday, and decided to try it out after a shower before bed. It tingled on the skin for a bit but the sensation quickly subsided. My skin felt nice, but I figured it would soak in and that would be that and my skin would go back to being my normal skin. Well, I woke up this morning and my skin felt like someone else’s skin... like the kind of skin that I always thought only genetics could give you. Five hours later, I still can’t beleive this is my skin. I actually can’t wait to keep using this every day. This lotion isn’t cheap, but if this is the result I can say it is absolutely worth it to me. I do have mild KP on arms and legs, and while some of that is gone, it’s not completely disappeared overnight. However, I have no doubt that this will completely take care of all of my KP that I’ve had for YEARS in a week or so. Really, the most impressive thing is the effect it has had on the overall texture and suppleness of my skin. It feels like magic! I really thought I had a type of skin that was doomed by nature, but this has completely changed my mind on that. I seriously can’t stop touching my skin!! Try this!! You will be missing out if you don’t!!

This is a nice lotion and probably works well for many skin issues, but did not clear up or significantly improve my KP. I used it for several weeks. I finally just went to the dermatologist and she prescribed a foam (I think it's Salvax, but not 100% sure) which in two weeks has already made a huge improvement with my KP. If you suffer from bad, embarrassing KP, like I did, just go to the dermatologist. Stinks that OTC treatments don't work, but I never did find one that would work.

Super fast delivery to Sydney! Packaging was well sealed; the lid had a plastic tamper wrap over it, as well as a protective seal over the small bottle opening (under the lid). As far as the product goes, i can only apply this to my forehead and nose as it stings if i apply it anywhere else. I always have plenty of sebaceous filaments and flaky nose skin because i squeeze (big no no). After using this product a handful of times (once a day for a few days in a row), my nose feels really smooth and the brown boys have been evicted. Bottle is too big for my purposes, but i highly recommend.

The product is good but the price is quite high compare to buying directly from the Paula Choice website.
