CorningWare1105935 French White III Oval Casserole with Glass Cover, 2.5-Quart

Easy to move from oven to counter because of handles on baking dish. No food sticks to side and bottom of casserole dish. Food is cooked evenly also. Attractive appearance which makes it easy to serve directly from oven to table. For me this was an excellent purchase and am happy with my decision to do so.

I love my French White Casserole dish.....The food cooks properly as it is lidded. The food stays warmfor a long time and its oven to table, it looks as nice as any serving dish I have. I use this casserole allthe time for so many dishes.....It is definitely an asset to my kitchen. Clean up is fabulous...I just spraywith cooking spray and it wipes right out.

This size is the most versatile and gets the most use at our house. This is replacing a similar item that finally cracked after about 15 years of hard use. I was excited to find this item sold individually and with the handle ends to make it safer when removing from the oven. Since I have Prime it arrived in two days and I was thankful to find so much bubble wrapping around it so it arrived intact. Great for the oven and pretty on the table.

Very elegant in appearance, detailing is very nice, and having its own lid makes it the perfect casserole dish.I tried a French cut green bean casserole topped with French's Crispy Fried Onions and the outcome was perfect. This Corningware Casserole Dish is a keeper for sure. Have some leftovers, just pop on the lid and in the Frig it goes. :)

I would have loved to tell you how good that it works but this is the second Corningware piece that I have ordered that came broken. The first one was the 6 piece bakeware set , just one piece of one of the dishes was broke. This one didn't even come in the original box, There needs to be some kind of padding between the pieces, "in this case, it is the bowl and the lid." This thing broke into many pieces, large and small. It came in a box (not the original box) with paper packaging and the two pieces were together and were slid inside a foam pocket. The box shows no sign of damage so it must have been the two pieces hitting each other to the degree that it shattered the bowl. At any rate, they need to pack them better. The first one was a box in a box but (although there was some cardboard between the pieces, they could still touch each other. This one was just slid into a foam envelope and stuffed inside a box. Like I said before, The box is in good shape but the bakeware dish is across it. Besides the side being broke, the bottom has a big crack across it. Totally useless!!

I like the dish. The lid is rather flimsy and could easily get broken. Corningware (the white dish) is indestructible. I have some smaller dishes for yearsl

This 2.5 quart casserole is the perfect size to fit on the turntable of my microwave. It cleans up easy, stores in the fridge, etc. Your basic Corningware. Great stuff. Of particular note on this model are the handles that loop out of the dish itself. This is unlike any other Corningware dish I'm familiar with and I like them.

This casserole is working very well for us, seems plenty sturdy and is great in the microwave to table to dishwasher routine, for fresh veggies and rice, as well as leftovers from the fridge. The only con so far is that the lid could seal a bit better, as it vents lots of steam when cooking in the microwave. Otherwise all good!
