Disclaimer: I bought this to use with Polymer Clay, not fondant. So my review is for the use with clay, not with fondant. Desite that, I know that clay tools and fondant tools are usually the same, and used for the same things, so I'm writing the review regardless. Ok, let's just go over the individual pieces in this set one by one, because some of them I love- others not so much. We'll start with the tools it gives you- a set of 8, yellow handles, plastic tools. The tools are great, and though I don't use them with fondant, I can tell you that they're going to work perfectly. There's lots of variety and I find myself reaching for them constantly among my other, more expensive sculpting tools. The only downside to these is the pastic seam running down the middle of most. A little sanding took care of that, and for the price, honestly, the set is amazing. I can deal with a little seam. The rolling pin. The pin itself is great- the rubber bands you're supposed to use to make sure that you roll your findant level are crap. They slide off the ends when you're using it, ust use a pasta machine. The pin is good for sizing down a big blob, though, to get it to a manageable size for the pasta machine. The smoother- I didn't use this. I tossed it in the trash. I didn't need it. Sorry! The stampers come in an overwhelming number of sizes and designs, and they work great. I was worried they'd get stuck or give me problems, but they haven't and I'm so glad that I bought them! I'm not going to review each one individually because it's pointless. They all work, they do what they're supposed to, they come in different sizes. Overall I think this kit is amazing, cheap, and for the money you're spending you won't find this set anywhere else.

A definite great buy! This pack had a few items that I almost purchased separately and would of cost much more so I'm really glad I found this. All the sets came bagged separately and I tested every piece to make sure that it wasn't broken and was working as it should. I've used all of the flower cutters, leaves, and the silicone roller. All the cutters with stamps I used easily cut and separated and created perfect details on my fondant and the silicone roller worked very well. I'm highly satisfied since I used these for a wedding project which is a very important thing to me, presentation has to be perfect and these items really came in handy and did what they were supposed to which equals being stress free. Overall these were just what I needed, very easy to use and clean, a definite must have for anyone working with fondant or something similar.

Considering the price, these are a much better quality than I was expecting. I use them to make bath bomb embeds - it's so much easier than using small metal fondant cutters. At our local craft store, it can cost as much as $4.99 for a set of three). I figured I'd try these out and if they sucked, I'm only out $12. These are really nice and I've just most of them with no issues. Cleans easily. The bonus tools are great and have been added to my baking stash. I'll also use the smaller plungers for baking since they are too small for my bath products.

I have been baking, decorating, and selling my cakes for 15+ years. I am addicted to cake tools and gadgets because you can never have enough. My daughter has shown an interest and has true talent so I wanted to get something I could use and she could learn. I ordered this set because of the sheer number of items you received. I rarely do fondant covered cakes but do A LOT of decorating accents with fondant and sugar paste. This set is FANTASTIC. The molds and presses are heavy plastic with a huge assortment of every size flower, star, leaf, four-leaf clover, star, etc. that you would ever need. The presses have a plunger so you can easily push out your shape without having to pry it out or off the non-stick surface and having it deform while doing this. The fondant hand tools are nice. The tips of the tools are heavy plastic and will easily shape or sculpt what you need. The handles are a bit light weight and the tips fit snuggly into them but can be pulled out with a little pressure. The set is 46 pieces ( misquoted in my video and said 48 pieces) and an outstanding value for beginners or the experienced.

This is a wonderful set. I've been using it for making fake cakes and cookies. They are easy to use and the clay comes out easy and clean, A good selection for the price too. Plastic tools might not be the best you can buy but for a beginner or craft person they work fine. I liked these so much I purchased another set as a gift.

I feel a little torn about this item. The price is amazing and for a hobby baker, like myself, this is a really great assortment of tools. They're certainly not professional, but they do the job. Where it's great: Great variety and price! The roller is super handy. The tools are mediocre quality, but I like the selection and I like that you can move the tool heads from one handle to another. The spring action release/imprint works really well. Where it's OK: The smoother is a little flimsy - the handle wiggles, a lot. Quality is just so-so. Many of these had plastic "splinters" inside that I had to try to pull out with tweezers. Where it's bad: The metal springs rust - this is a health concern. I saw other reviews that said as much, but I figured it was a result of putting them away before they were dry. I washed these and let them air dry for 3 full days, flipping them to make sure water drained from both sides. When I went to use them today, a few of them had rusty water dripping out. I'm afraid of breaking these trying to pull the springs out to clean them. I was missing a few pieces and had some duplicate sizes. Not a important enough for me to return them since they're pieces I probably won't use anyway. Some of the pieces were broken when they arrived. They still work, but don't stay together. For the price, I'm not surprised by the quality and I still think they're a good deal, even if they're far from perfect.

Great little set for a beginner. Two pieces were broken upon arrival (the handle was broken off of the cake smoother, one of the small flower plungers) but I'm still giving 5 stars because they may have been damaged during shipping, not necessarily a product defect

This kit has many things that as a new decorator I just love and know will be useful in making beautiful cakes!! They came in a sealed bag with eleven packets of cut out tools, one package of detail pencils, one rolling pin and a fondant polisher. They all appear to be sturdy and the cut out tools do have details in them so for instance the leaves have veins that will be printed unto the fondant from the cut out. I also love the fact that there are different sizes for each cut out. Love it!!
