KidKraft 5" Wooden Poseable Doll Family of 7 - Caucasian, Gift for Ages 3+

Super cute posable doll family. Bought our granddaughter a doll house, and this was the perfect family to live in that house. The dolls have wooden heads and bendable legs so they can stand or sit. Cute yarn hair reminds me of old fashioned dolls made with great quality. Fantastic dolls could be played with even without a doll house. Sometimes they are packed up and brought along when we travel. High quality construction, that will outlast my kids playing with them. I imagine these dolls will be played with for years and years!

Bought this for a 7 yr old for Christmas and she loved it. The parents also thought this was an unusual but beautiful set of family which included a lot of different memebers. It is made of wood and is sturdy which should last many years. Although she does not have a doll house, she plays with it just like children did in times gone bye when there were not many things to play with. I just wish that it would bend at the legs so you could sit the memebers into a chair but then that would be extra parts which could break apart. It comes really nicely packaged also. The parents thought this was extremely thoughtful and practical and very unusual to the plastic stuff that is on the market now that will only be played with for a short time but this will last years. Very good quality.

Nothing but good things to say. I love that these are all wood and cloth materials, it seems they’ll last a long time and they are eco-friendly. Dolls are cute and the kids love them. Easy to pose them, they can sit or stand. They fit well in our Kidkraft dollhouse.

My 4 year old granddaughter was delighted with this family of dolls, and played with them for quite a long time. But, she was disappointed that they can't sit down in chairs, and she could not identify the mother doll, because it looks like a teenage boy. I handed her the dolls one by one and asked who they were....she identified Granddad, Grandma, Daddy, etc. but when I asked who the mother was, she said, "I dont know". I would suggest that the toy maker change the style of the mother doll to make it look like a woman. She needs longer hair, and different clothes; if they don't want to give her a dress to wear, it might help if they gave her a fancy blouse or an apron. Also, it would be great if they could make the dolls so they can sit. I searched all the dollhouse dolls on Amazon before I bought these, and the descriptions were definitely lacking, making me unable to determine if the dolls could sit. I did read a review praising the fact that the dolls stood up well, and my granddaughter did like that it was easy to make the dolls stand up.

This set of dolls was a Christmas present for my 3 year old great granddaughter. They are so cute and sturdy, and are perfect for her KidKraft wooden doll house. I just love that these are a complete family including grandma and grandpa. She had started to name them all after family members as soon as she took them out of the box! They are very well constructed and the clothing and hair is nicely detailed. Overall a great set of dolls.

Great wooden dolls. They were excellent for the Kidkraft Chelsea Cottage Dollhouse. They can bend to sit and can stand on their own as well. Nonetheless, I don’t think my 2 year old will be able to get them to stand easily as it takes some adjusting of the legs and body. The outfits on them are cute and they will definitely last.

I bought these for Christmas for my almost four year old daughter. She does love them but there are a few bummers. First they are cute, simple, flexible, and you get a full family for a good price. But quality is questionable on some of the pieces. Grandma had some peeling of her shoes/paint and one of her feet keeps rotating by itself which bothers my daughter. There is exposed glue around the "ankle area" on some of the pieces. What bothers my daughter the most...the feet. I don't think the feet are supposed to move side to side which is why there is so much glue but a few of them have one mobile foot that upsets my daughter and she is constantly asking me to "fix it". She also believes there are no boys in the family other than the dad and grandpa. I like the simplicity and you could make the children boys or girls but because they all appear to have longish hair she says they are all girls. (primarily she is referring to the two red heads). I will probably send these back and try again. PS. I did buy some of the Hape furniture and they do fit on it. Also I bought a doll house off of Craigslist and it is a Melissa and Doug all natural wood house. I saw it fully furnished on Amazon for over $200. I will add that although my daughter loves the house I have found it very problematic to get inside to play with it. Not enough exposed walls but it looks nice. And there are no stairs but not a major problem.
