Generator cover
Cover fit our generator perfect, help up with wind and rain and just gave us peace and mind that our investment was protected. Quality was great and even though some people complained about instructions, we had no issues. Well worth the money.

Holds up but...
This cover is for my generator. It was difficult to install but not horrid - took a bit of do and re-do. When the cover is in storage, it has lots of black spots on it. Might try a bit of bleach or oxyclean?? Still works well.

Works great and keeps the generator dry
This past summer, I actually got to put this together and tested it for one day when the power had gone out. Worked great nothing got wet and very happy with how it works.

Room for improvement
Quality product that will be useful when needed. Not too hard to assemble. For those who have difficulty putting it together, there is at least one YouTube video that might be somewhat helpful. My main complaint is there is no carrying case to store it when not in use. For the price Champion charges for this thing, they should include a zippered storage case. I'm using the nylon bag from a camp chair to keep everything in. The instruction manual would benefit from some editing for clarity. Champion should also provide an instruction video. Do better, guys.

Follow directions and not too difficult to install.
The product came as described and in excellent condition. Once I installed the web strap and braces (would be nice if someone held a couple of the braces in place while you tightened the strap), the rest of the install was fairly easy. In my case I added two extenders to each of the back corners (exhaust side) and three to each of the front corners. You will need to decide how much to angle the extenders in each corner in order to establish the correct spacing between corners (which holes of the extenders the poles will be put into) - this was easier to do than write about. Next install the 4 fibergrass poles as directed in the manual. The cover slides easily over the setup. I liked the entire process very much. When finished, you can leave the strap and corner braces attached for next time and just store the cover, poles, and extenders. Note: Each set of extenders can stay together, just disconnect each as a unit at each corner brace. Better Note: There is a good youtube video on how to do this from Champion or at their website.

Good option for running generator outside in inclement weather
It was a bit tedious to assemble and the written instructions could be written a little clearer. However, once I realized it took two sets of hands to assemble the final product things went more smoothly. It would have been nice to include a bag for storage.

Fighting the Storm
Listen, this thing is a beast. Although much easier to set up with two people, all the hype about how difficult it is on initial set up is exaggerated. It has been through two severe storms so far, and the inverter didn't see a drop of it. It held up like nothing happened at all. One negative: why so dang pricy?

Lifesaver
This has been a lifesaver for our generator. When you spend that much on a generator, it is great to protect it with this canopy. It is well worth the money.

Considered ordering a GenTent straight from the manufacturer for my Honda EU7000is. However, after considering the total cost including shipping and the current CAD/USD exchange I abandoned that idea. I then came across this version branded by Champion Power Equipment. It's half the price and fits perfectly - if one references the pictures on the GenTent site for the Honda EU7000is then assembly is a breeze. Like the yellow too!! Note: In the photos the incl. skirt that protects the controls has been left off for review purposes.

The quality is good. The assembly instructions are generic and should be provided for the generator you are currently using. However, I reached GenTent directly and they immediately sent me very clear instructions; that is real excellent customer service, contrary to Champion that do not take their responsibilities as the sellers... their name is on it! They should better. You pay for the Champion name on this product. You can get the same from GenTent directly at a lower price, and without the yellow Champion flashy color that attracts thieves... Would not buy from Champion again.

This cover performed excellent! We were in Nova Scotia and had 12" of rain in less than 12 hours and no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend. (I have a Generac IQ3500 generator)
