This is a high quality product. Excellent leather and durable stitching. However it's small, don't expect to fit anything other than a few things. If you're looking for something small, then this is worth it.

A simple yet classic leather purse in the perfect size. This is not a modified backpack, but it does hold my wallet, keys, hair brush and sunglasses plus there's an outside pocket for my phone. Leather is very nice quality: softer than I expected with a slight polished sheen to it. I got the carbon color, which is a neutral, dark stormy gray. Zipper was a bit sticky, but I solved that easily by carefully wiping some WD40 along the teeth. Would make an welcomed gift!

I got this purse after wanting it for a long time. The leather is beautiful and the size is perfect. It holds everything I need (small, bi-fold wallet, sunglasses, keys, phone, mints, lipstick, hand sanitizer, etc.) without being too big. After a month or two of having the bag, a white substance started to appear on the bag. After research, I discovered it was spew which is something leather can secrete. I reached out to Frye customer service as a bag of this quality and price should be guaranteed for stains like this that are not the user's fault. I sent the photos included in this review asking for help in getting the stains removed. I got a boilerplate answer that read as follows: We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the white substance on your Frye purse. To remove it and prevent further occurrences, follow these steps. First, identify the nature of the substance to determine the appropriate cleaning method. If it's a stain, try spot cleaning using mild detergent and water. Test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying it to the affected spot. The details above didn't specify specifically how to deal with this kind of stain and I was disappointed that I bought a bag covered by a one-year warranty and that they didn't offer to send the cleaning materials or to pay for the professional service they recommend when the stain was not caused by me. Ultimately, I used some Leather Honey branded cleaner and conditioner my husband had previously purchased from Amazon and it worked well to lift the stain. So in conclusion TLDR--beautiful and functional purse that seveloped spew stains on its own. Manufacturer did not offer the care products to remove the spew that should have been covered under my warranty.

It seems nice enough but smaller than I thought. Actually the width seems like it will not hold much. Leather is nice and color is great. I think it will hold up well.

Love the size. Big enough to hold by big “azz” Dooney & Burke wallet and a pen. The wide strap stays on my shoulder well. It’s a more causal rustic look, but so am I.

I am absolutely in love with this bag and the color. I had purchased this same bag in Cognac and didn't like it, but the Violet is stunning! The pictures don't really capture the true colour, but I would say it's more of a grey with a hint of light eggplant?? Hard to describe except to say it is beautiful and reminds me of a stormy summer day!

Beautiful cognac colour; well-made; light-weight; perfect size for everyday use - lipstick, hair brush, wallet, keys and little sundries (kleenex, etc). I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse. I checked it over - found a wee, tiny scuff mark (about the size of 1/2 baby-finger print - miniscule). If I felt the need to do it, I could easily camoflauge it with leather polish - but honestly that is not necessary. The price was fantastic, it was wrapped as new - handle was tissue wrapped (never opened), dust bag included. I will certainly be checking out Warehouse deals in the future.

Buyer should know how to do maintenance and love this kind of leather. It will easily have scratch mark (but can rub off the mark easily), color will darken when apply cream as this leather is breathable and can get water strain too, have skin wrinkle as it is character of full grain leather but this leather will last long if know how to take care and look beautiful in the eyes of people who love full grain leather.
