What a lifesaver! And career saver! I like this handy little device. It works fast and accurately. Easy to use and understand. It’s well made and I understand the manufacturer makes these sensors for actual law enforcement. If it’s good enough for the police, it’s good enough for me! It is small enough to carry in a purse or glovebox. (In a handy case) Not a toy. When the time comes you want real information, not some party trick. Unless you do an actual blood test, this is as good as it gets in the moment. It takes just a second to test you or maybe a friend to determine who should drive. It’s not worth it to be irresponsible, drive impaired and perhaps start a chain of events that you would most certainly regret later.

I bought it after my friend’s DWI incident because he knew he had not enough to drink to be arrested and convicted and I bought this device three weeks ago and I love this device after the first use it has paid for itself, very accurate and reliable. Though I have tried other cheaper unit I would spend a little more for accuracy. This device is small and compact so you can easily put it in your pocket if you'd like. I would personally highly recommend it to anyone and I will be talking it up to all my friends and family in the future.

It only gives you a past fail. It doesn’t actually tell you the blood alcohol content, which is a real shame because I wanted to have a really fun game at home when we’re day drinking. Who can drink the most drinks before their BAC becomes illegal?

I have purchased several different breathalyzers and this was the easiest and fastest to use. The length of breathing is a bit shorter, and therefore easier. Response is quick and in comparison to others, very accurate. I've had it over a year now, so it does need calibration, but calibration is cheaper than buying even an inexpensive new one and results are too varied with lower end models.

I bought this product, when I started to drive after parties or even after sitting with my friends, as always wanted to make sure that I am on a "safe line" Bought it last year in the end of August, it has started to show me error (not batteries) since April (i used it max 50 times, not 1000) and it has been 9 months, not 12 for callibration. So definitely some kind of manufacturer mistake. But... Every sigle time I was testing it, it seemed very true to me. I believe, results were accurate. I wish it could work longer...

First of all, it really easy to carry around. Its extremely light and smaller than a phone even with the case. Now the most important part: accuracy. Never knew that alcohol stays in my body for so long until I used this. I never drive when I have even a sip of alcohol. But there are times I drink until 2, 3 AM and have to drive somewhere at 6. I blew on this device on morning after drinking the night before and saw 0.05, which would be a violation. Not a big chance of being pulled over or causing an accident the next morning, but just simply don't want to risk the slightest chance.

i've tested at least 10-20 times over a period of a 3 hours. I tested several times in a row within a minute or two of each other. I've gotten .073 on the try and then a minute later I got a .079; I had not had drinks in over 1.5 hours. My BAC did go down over that period from a high of .105 down to the low of either .073 or .079 over the course of about 3 hours. However, I have no confidence on the actual level; I believe that i've even had readings of .097 and .086 within a minute of each other. Update: It does show a consistent decrease in bac over time. However, I've gotten to 0.00 and still felt like I was not sober. I go by the 1 oz of hard alcohol per hour and then you're sober. I believe that I've still been on 7 or 8 drinks and it registered 0.00. I'm not certain if the body gets rid of 1 oz per hour or 1.5 oz per hour. Different websites list different amounts between that range.

Product is very easy to use--comes in a little zippered hard case that would be easy to keep in your glove compartment, purse or pocket. Can't speak to its accuracy, as I haven't compared it to a police unit or a blood draw, but its results seem concordant with my expectations. I plan to keep it in my glove compartment, and may pull it out at parties to give some perspective to those determined to drive after drinking. Thus far, I'm quite pleased with the purchase and would recommend it.
