All I can say is WOW!!
I have some logs from a very old maple tree which I wanted to cut up into blanks for turning on the lathe. I struggled with the electric chainsaw to get them into manageable sizes before switching to the band saw. But even cutting them on the band saw was difficult and took forever. The Timber Wolf 3 TPI blade was recommended by a friend and so I decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly, with detailed instructions for installing and tuning it for best performance. It looked very well made and was extremely sharp! I mounted the same 6" thick disc of maple on the saw which previously took me almost half an hour to cut through. This time, however, it cut easily, with no effort, and it took less than a minute! And the resulting cut was as smooth as I have seen after planing. I highly recommend these blades to everyone who is doing any kind of wood turning.

Cuts great
I like these blades! Works great on my under powered old Craftsman band saw. I have sawn about a hundred plus feet before they start to get dull. I previously made 3/32 thick slices in 4" high oak with no effort and a great finish, with a 4 tooth blade. Only took 1 to 2 passes over joiner at .005" deep to flatten the sawn edge out! Based on the other blades, when I wanted to saw logs from trees on my property into boards I ordered this 3 tooth blade. I was able to cut wet spruce, western cedar, and lilac boards at max height (7") on my little saw at a rate of about 1" per minute. After about 75 linear feet of cuts the blade wasn't cuuting as fast, so took it out and touched it up lightly on bench grinder by hand. Cut good for another 50 - 75 foot, and I was done. Makes my little saw work like a much bigger better saw!

Give your saw twice the capacity with this blade
If you’ve never used a Timber Wolf bandsaw blade, buy one and you’ll never buy another from a big box store. You’ll be amazed at how this blade will make your saw go through the hardest woods like butter. Cuts are smoother, faster, and more accurate. READ THE PAPER that comes with the blade... it tells how to properly tension your blade. Take their advice and oil your blades (no matter who’s blade you buy). Last piece of advice - sharpen your own blades... all it takes is any brand tool like a Dremmel rotary tool and the proper stone. It takes about fifteen minutes and makes an old blade just like new. You can sharpen a blade about five time... trust me - it’s worth learning how and Timer Wolf tells you how to do it on the bandsaw blade wisdom sheet they include with this blade.

Great purchase.
My 35 year old Craftsman 12" bandsaw was fair on resawing softwood but almost impossible to use on cherry without shrieking, smoking, and burning. I tried dozens of alignment techniques with mediocre results. The Timber Wolf Blade changed all that. The instructions were complete but the flutter method was new to me so I read them twice then summarized them in 10 bullet points. At first I had a problem seeing the flutter but taped a sheet of white paper to the table and that helped a lot. First cut was 1" poplar no drift at all. Next I easily and quietly cut an 1/8" slice from a 5" cherry board. I added a crank to the tension adjustment knob on my saw years ago to ease and speed up the tensioning process. The crank now also makes it very easy for me to count the turns when I de-tension it then re-tension it as recommended by the seller. The blue tape over the power switch reminds me how many turns on the tension knob the next time I use that blade.

Worth the extra $??
The printout that came with the blade is like a Bible for band saw blades. Edit/update First blade was great, until a hidden, vagabond nail went rogue and got the best of it. Second blade: snapped. It was under a fair load, but shouldn't have snapped. Not sure how I feel about them. But the first one was good enough to likely go with round 3 to see, not sure yet. Will update accordingly.
