The remote worked perfectly, but it doesn't come with instructions included. It needs to be programmed and you have to be able to do this, otherwise the remote won't work.

This remote is supposed to be universal for Midea ACs but it didn't work at all for me. I tried it with the batteries that came with it (size AAA), then I switched to more expensive ones, but nothing worked. No paper instructions came with it as to how to program it to the AC, so I checked YouTube to see if perhaps someone put something on there for this particular remote, but nothing offered, except how to insert batteries, which I'd already done. So, to me, it's just no good at all. I wish I had returned it earlier, but since it got misplaced around here for a while, the return time has now expired, so I'm just going to toss this thing in the garbage.

Worked great. Just put in 2 batteries and it works like a charm.

I didn't believe the reviews at first but, for real, just added batteries and it worked on my Midea unit! It's cheap, and it looks and feels it. Only does Celsius. But what a bargain to replace a lost or broken remote!
