I’ve been using this Spirulina powder, and it’s been amazing! I have iron deficiency anaemia caused by menstruation. Before I started using this, I used to feel tired, dizzy, and weak, but since I began using it, all of that has gone away. I feel so much stronger and more energetic now plus am sure it’s helping me with my iron levels. I chose this brand because it’s made in Hawaii and has one of the highest iron contents, and I’m really happy with the quality. I store it in the fridge and usually mix a teaspoon with fruit to make a smoothie. I also add a wedge of lemon to help activate the iron. I started with the smaller 5oz size to test it out, and now I’m planning to buy the larger 16oz one to keep using it. Highly recommend!

If your hesitating on purchasing this, as I was, I say go for it! I just received this today and I absolutely love it. I suffer from iron deficiency anemia and have read that spirulina contains a high level of iron so that is why I decided to try this out. I put about a tablespoon into a pretty large smoothie and I didn't notice any taste- which I hear is a good thing! I read some negative reviews about the spirulina that is not Hawaiian tasting like a fish tank so I'd say to definitely go for the Hawaiian I did not notice any fishy taste. I would absolutely recommend this. Great health benefits, little to no taste, good size, good price. Love it!

I love the taste of spirulina. Especially the Nutrex brand. I'd still rate the seller and powder 5 out of 5. However, the product I did order had a broken lid (the freshness seal was still in tack). I would ask to please ensure the container doesn't have a broken lid next time. If the freshness seal had been compromised I wouldn't have been able to use my product.

I use Spirulina every morning in my breakfast and so feel it gives me a boost. I was glad to find it.

Very good spirulina powder. We use it in smoothies and it does not add any unpleasant taste. Much better quality than the local smoothie bars use here which have a unmistakable taste element.

This is my go-to spirulina. The price is super reasonable as well. Sometimes I get a fishy smell from, but I'm assuming it's supposed to smell like that? Not sure. Regardless it does the trick. I feel like it cleans my system after taking it for a couple of days. It last pretty long so I definitely get a bang for my buck.

I ordered this after doing some research about all the different Spirulina on the market. This one tastes so much better than the 2 other brands we have tried. We use a teaspoon in my 9 year old daughters smoothies to bump up the nutrient value. She loves it mixed with coconut water, a couple of each: frozen strawberries, raspberries, mango, pineapple, blueberries and a tsp. of hemp seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds. She said it tastes like a Hawaiian smoothie.
