Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP (8 Ounces)

Very nice product to use

After seeing a few online reviews of this online I was determined to try it. I nearly ordered some from the US when I found this seller importing it and selling it here on amazon. Great! After oiling my well-abused work boots with the Obenauf leather oil, I applied a couple of coats of this leather wax. I LOVE IT! It takes a little getting used to applying it with your bare fingers (after using brushes or rags for applying stuff to shoes and boots for the last 50 years!) But this smells pleasant, and it kind of melts into the leather with the help of your body heat. Even leaves your hands ‘treated’! It has made my old boots looking good, and more importantly - water resistant- again! So I will keep using it again. And the tub looks like it will last a good long time as well.

I used this product obenauf on both of my leather jackets the result was very good the jackets were more supple & they had a lovely leather smell with it. I applied obenauf for a second time to the jackets really pleased with results. Application used was hair drier & soft cloth, l warmed cloth & container to make more manageable then apply to jackets all over I layed them on a flat table to make it easier. I also found that it made my arthritis better in my hand by using the warm cloth.

Obenhauf's Heavy Duty LP is a fantastic product for leather care. I wish I'd been aware of the product years ago. They've brought new life to shoes and boots and will allow them to last even longer.

I'm a leatherworker who was looking for something a bit stronger than Renapur for conditioning my finished work. This stuff is extremely effective, but as others have said it does tend to darken the leather. It's not always a bad thing, and my work often benefits from it, but it's worth bearing in mind.

I’ve been slightly disappointed with this product which I have used on both boots and shoes. Easy to apply and appears to waterproof the leather. However after a day ploughing through mud and wet vegetation boots look as though they haven’t been treated. It is possible they require repeat treatments to build up a level of protection.

Used it for Red Wing Iron Rangers. It darkens the color (which I knew), is easily applied by hand and suits well for the type of leather on these boots.

by far the best leather care product in the world and not only for leather. I'm using it also on wooden gun parts (stocks and forends). Excellent product

Great product to protect leather. Easy to apply, works great, lasts a long time, and has a pleasant smell. One thing to note is that it will darken the leather a shade or two.

For boots it is the ultimate product

I’m a utility meter reader and walking outside in the elements all day. After trying several products and solutions to try and stop my feet from being soaked from the dew and rain, this was the only product that actually worked to hold back the water! My only small beef I have is that reapplication is supposed to be about 4-6 weeks, maybe it’s because of how much my shoes are in contact with water but I have to reapply every week to keep them waterproof which means I go through it a lot faster. Others have complained that it darkens the leather, I wasn’t too picky about this but I can confirm it does significantly darken your leather until it starts to wear off.
