DEFECTIVE COLLUNINATION
Item was received defective. This multi-mode diode in module with G2 lens would not effectively collimate and focus into a single crisp rectangle light beam without having large amounts of diffused light surrounding it at any distance. I have several other exact same "in module with G2" NUBM44 diodes that absolutely and form beams properly. This one does not. It is defective. Returned item and was charged a 50% restocking fee. BEWARE!!

Beyond expectations
I was very pleased with this assembly. The wiring attachment to the anode and cathode was perfect. The thermal paste was applied with care and there was absolutely no mess. The diode works great and the assembly tube is very nice. I hope that the beam expansion of the 7W diode will be cut in half in the near future.
