Comfortable, cool, and it helps relieve any lower back pain 💯👍 This was the 3rd different cushion I tried and this one is by far the best!! At the time of this review, I have had this cushion only 3 days. I rarely review products this early, but I feel it's important to share my thoughts on this cushion now. I have PCOS, and due to a recent injury I've been more sedentary than usual. Unfortunately, in an older chair with the cushion greatly degraded, that has led up to some really bad tailbone pain. In the past I've avoided buying coccyx pillows because they were expensive and often did not last long - not worth my money. But I've been in enough pain that I needed to do something, and spotted this great looking product (and value). After two months of increasingly bad tail bone pain - my life with this cushion so far has been like this: Day one: lessened pain, still quite present. Day two: far lessened pain, about half as present as it was. Day three: very little pain, about 1/4 as frequent as it was. I'm three days in, and having remarkable recovery, way beyond my expectations. As for the product itself? It seems of incredibly good quality. It holds its shape after hours of use. The cover (removable + washable!) doesn't dig or scratch or scrape. The zipper for the cover is out of the way. The cushion stays mostly secure in the chair with minimal slippage (most of which is caused by me getting in and out of the chair, not sitting in it). The height isn't disorienting. For the most part, I have not noticed the cooling gel, but the cushion also never feels hot, sticky, or sweaty. The main thing I'd want out of this cushion is for it to be a bit larger - particularly length wise. My hips are settled on it just fine, but I'd like the cushion to go out along my thighs a little further. Instead, I have a few inches of chair mesh my legs are on. And if all of that doesn't sell you - this cushion comes from a small business, not a megacorp. I even had a hand written note with a number I could call or text if I had issues. Incredibly satisfied, and now I just hope that this cushion lasts for a substantial amount of time! :)

I waited a while after receiving this product to give it a review, as I wanted to see how it played out and not just jump to review. Let's go over the Pros and Cons: Pros -Comfortable for the most part -Stays cool; I don't really sweat while sitting on it -Doesnt' shift around; stays in place -I have felt some relief from using it for a few weeks, so it does give great support -Sturdy; I feel it will last quite a while Cons -Size!!! This is the BIGGEST issue with this product. It is advertised as being a seat cushion that you can use for long desk periods but I have tried it on 3 different chairs and it fit none of them perfectly. If you don't sit EXACTLY in the center of it, you will find your butt or legs awkwardly hanging off the side and, since this cushion is VERY high, it feels weird. It is more the style to fit a barstool than a computer chair so it was kind of disappointing. I have to use another pillow behind it so I don't have a weird gap between my back and the chair back. -VERY FLIMSY COVER THAT IS WAY TOO TIGHT - Pray to the gods you never have an accident where you have to wash the cover. My cat spilled something on it so I had to get the cover off...which is a freaking nightmare. It is SO tight that I was amazed I got it off at all without ripping it. Then, I went to put it back on after cleaning and the cushion just does not fit; you have to really bend and crush the cushion while trying ever so carefully not to stretch the narrow zipper opening too much...which is apparently impossible. Not only did the cover rip, but the zipper itself came off in my hand! I now have a broken product that I hope I never have to wash again, or Ill have to put it in a pillow case or something. This was VERY disappointing. Overall, I don't regret buying it but I may look to replace it with another at some point after my experience and the overall size.

Was a bit sceptical of the claims of helping back pain but have been using the cushion for a week now and my back and hips are less sore from sitting down. Worth a try if you have suffer from back pain and tight hips while sitting.

I received my new SLEEPAVO seat cushion yesterday, Friday April 5, 2024. I will of course enter a follow-up review in 6 months. It is a pleasure to sit on a firm, posture friendly seat surface. Two years ago I fractured my T11 vertebrae. Twenty plus years ago I ruptured my L 5 S1 disc. I'm now seventy-four years old and appreciating this quality seat cushions comfort. Thank you SLEEPAVO.
