Dark Horse Deluxe 11 oz Coffee Mug Stark

So your teenage son is reading! All of the books! Reading, yes! And you need a small gift or stocking stuffer. . .this is perfect. I smile every time I pull this out of the dishwasher. It's a reminder for both of us that he read every one of these long books. . .and not for a school assignment. He loves coffee and he loves sitting in an easy chair and reading. The mug itself is handsome, seems well-made and he likes the artwork. I try to ignore that it says HBO on the bottom. Anyone can watch tv.

It's hard to say much else- except this is a nice mug, and exactly what I was expecting! It's sturdy, quality, and dishwasher and microwave safe. It has the beautiful Stark sigil on the front with their motto "Winter is Coming." The back says "Game of Thrones." Now I can break my fast like a true Stark!

My experience with this mug started off well enough; the logo hasn't washed off or faded, and it keeps the coffee hot like other mugs. However, shortly after I purchased it, my brother fell out of a window and now he can't walk anymore. Then, my father got a new job, but soon after he was convicted of treason and subsequently executed. Then, my sister was taken hostage, forced into two failed marriages, and finally wound up lost in the woods with a guy who she hated. Meanwhile, my oldest brother, his new wife, and my mom were all murdered while attending a wedding. I mean really, who does that? As if that weren't enough, my half-brother was stabbed to death by his own employees, my younger sister vanished, then came back acting all creepy, and my youngest brother was killed by our older sister's second husband. I swear, this mug is cursed.

I just got this today as a gift for my bestie for her 22nd B-day. She loves tea and is a HUGE GOT fan. So when I saw this I was like "PURRRFECT" :D I opened the box because it looked WAY small... It was the perfect size... but it was also chipped around the rim... nothing too bad... Just slightly disappointing... :( However, it also gives it a more Game of Thrones feel? Its fitting that this Stark Mug looks like it has been a little beat up. :)

Exactly as pictured and came on time. I tend to worry about ordering things like mugs through the mail as it doesn't take much to crack or chip them. But it came packaged well with no signs of damage at all. Any fan of the show will be proud to have this as part of their collection.

Love the mug. It's attractive and it has the official HBO licensing stuff on the bottom and the box, if that sort of thing is important to you. I would give it 5 stars but mine had a pretty big blemish in the handle. It's dented and the glaze pooled up into a ball before it was fired. I guess quality control missed this one. It doesn't effect the functionality of the mug and someone couldn't wait to use it, so I didn't bother to return or exchange.

Perfect gift for my father! The picture may or may not come off in the dish washer, but my father hand washes it after every use. So far it has remained in mint condition! It is microwave safe, and is somewhat durable (as far as ceramic material goes). I highly recommend for collectors or gifts. For college students and business travelers, I would wait to get this gift until you are in a more stable place. Better safe than sorry I think. Otherwise, I will be buying one for myself and I will probably buy one from the rest of the Houses as well.

Smaller then I thought but that's my fault it the size is clearly listed on the site. The picture and writing looks great and hasn't rubbed off, and I've been washing it in the dish washer every couple of days since August 3rd.
