Turns a crappy saw into something useable.
This blade turned the crappiest Harbor Freight 10 inch sliding miter saw into something useable that produces a decent cut. My only wish is I had thrown away the stock blade as soon as I assemble the saw and put this thing on. I tested it with 1 inch Maple, 3/4 inch walnut, 2 inch red oak, and it performed great leaving a nice smooth (albeit slight red from the pain on the first few cuts) edge without any tear out.The Harbor Freight saw is crap, but it fits in my budget for now until I can upgrade down the road. It's not very powerful but the Diablo blade sliced the wood with ease. I was very surprised at the cut not expecting the finish I had. I think the tear out was minimized greatly because I added the Fastcap Zero Clearance Tape to my miter saw. It's supposed to help with chipout which my miter saw was horrible with. This is my 3rd Diablo blade that I have purchased and soon all my blades will be diablo. I have the 5 1/2 circular saw blade, and a 10 inch 50 tooth combination blade on my table saw. I plan to pick up a rip cutting blade from Diablo soon as the blades are very nice and hold up with minimal deflection. I look forward to using this blade for quite some time and hope to move it to a new saw soon.My only gripe is the red will rub off on the wood on the first few cuts, so put the blade on and make several test cuts on scrap wood before diving into your good stuff.

Don't let the price scare you away, follow the reviews
Purchased this blade to use on trim throughout the house. Ended up doing the trim, stairs for a deck, built a coffee table, made some shelves...you get the point. This blade is awesome, cuts through wood like butter and leaves a very smooth finish with no splintering. This is the first blade I've splurged on and it was worth every penny.Pros:Smooth, smooth, smooth cuttingLeaves no splintersCons:The price seems high but it's not considering what you're gettingBuying this blade made me a little selfish, I don't like to let people borrow it.Disclaimer: I'm no carpenter or construction worker, far from it. I'm just a guy that likes to do things around the house himself, and buying this blade gets me there. Caution: you might find yourself looking for things to cut with this blade, things that you probably don't even need to cut.

Great blades
The Diablo blades always cut a good line. They're sharp and true.

Unbelievably sharp, precise, fine-tooth finishing blade
This is an incredible finishing blade that I use with my DEWALT DW713 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw. I have yet to come up with any complaints about this fantastic blade from Freud, who I think makes some of the best blades out there. I've only used it to cut stain-grade 1-bys, small moulding and trim so far but the results have been terrific. No splinters, no shards, no errors in the cut whatsoever -- just an edge cut so perfectly that it almost doesn't need to be sanded. I tested out the blade to see just how thin it could cut, and I peeled off a wafer from a 1x6 baseboard that was so thin I could almost see through it.There are other 80-tooth finishing blades out there that may be a little bit cheaper, but based on my experience, this Freud blade is definitely worth the extra money.

Smooth as a baby's bottom
Cuts like hot knife through butter. Edge is so smooth that not finishing is needed

Pretty good blade
Well after hearing about how phenomenal Freud blades are I bought a couple. They cut great, I agree. But I did not seem to get any cleaner a cut with a new Freud than with a new DeWalt blade. Both blades made excellent, smooth and clean, square cuts using red oak. The Freud did not seem to stay sharp for long, but to be absolutely fair, I did make 6 or so cuts through Pergo with it.....probably not the best idea.....I bought it for cabinet making so it wasn't the brightest thing to cut Pergo with it. hahahaha. Anyway, I would buy one of these again depending on the price of it compared to others. If it was a lot more than say a DeWalt blade, I'd probably buy the DeWalt. But if the price was within 10 bucks I'd give the Freud another try.....and NOT cut Pergo.....and see how it lasts.
