Dryer Maid Ball 2pk

I have a short haired chihuahua who is constantly shedding. I also wear a lot of dark colors for work. I used both balls in the dryer with my work clothes and my clothes had NO hair. My dog is blonde and there was NO hair. I also used the balls in the dryer with her/my felt throw blanket..its a Pittsburgh Steelers throw and it also worked. The throw is fairly large and there was hair left on it so I took it to a laundromat and used the extra large dryer with the balls and NO HAIR. I absolutely love this product. The lint filters in the dryer are FULL of dog hair and gone from my clothes. So thankful.

This is the second time buying this item. I use two cloth covered balls at a time. They remove pet hair and lint from any material. They are quiet in use, no banging around like other dryer balls. My first set of balls lasted about 6 years before replacement was necessary. They may be a bit deflated when taking out of the package, but that is normal. They expand in the dryer heat. These are not made to soften clothing, just remove lint and hair.

I have two very furry cats and therefore am constantly dealing with cat fur on my clothes, sheets, furniture, etc. After using up yet another lint roller, I became frustrated and searched on Amazon for something that might help with the problem. When I came across these dryer balls, I gave them a shot and was impressed! I use both dryer balls at the same time as I only have one dryer. I have noticed a decreased amount of fur on my clothes and an increased amount of cat hair in my lint trap. Make sure you are careful and change the lint trap every time as it will fill up! One thing to note is that these did not remove all cat hair from my clothes completely, but it did make a noticeable difference which was all I was hoping for! It's also nice that the balls pick up the lint and put it in the lint trap so you don't have to pull all the fur off the dryer balls. I have thrown them in the wash when the white gets a little dirty and then back in the dryer they go, nice and clean! The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that it is a little pricy for what it is (two small dryer balls) and again, it did not completely remove all cat hair. I have saved money on lint rollers in the long run and I would recommend.

I bought FOUR of these because I needed them to work. I needed them to work so bad I rewashed my problem clothes and dried them just for this. I did it a few times to be POSITIVE before I wrote this review. I own a laboratory and fido started coming with me at work.With FOUR balls in the dryer and two drying sessions maybe TWO hairs went to the filter (and I am sure just by odds w no balls they would have made a touch down there) I think if you have the Emperors' clothes [which was no clothes as the story goes] they will work splendid. My only solution is major grooming on time for fido. I was just late this shed and too late. The balls are worthless. My dryer? LG Inverter Direct Drive front load which I LOVE and highly recommend.

I ordered one of these, and then ordered 2 more because they worked so well, and there were reviews that said they fall apart--I wanted back ups if they did. I don't use for softening/static removal, I still use fabric softener. I like that the dryer balls pull hair, lint, and threads off of clothing. Be prepared to empty your lint filter more often when you start using them. I highly recommend for households with cats, dogs, horses, or other hairy things.

I purchase this product in hope of curing the animal hair on clothes problem after going through the laundry. I would say that it helped to remove about 70% of the hair and lint but not all of it. The science behind the product makes a lot of sense but in the real world it just does not live up to all the hype. I would say I would purchase again because the product does work but not 100%. Also the dry time for clothing has decreased by about 10 minutes on every load.

Didn't work for me. But maybe thats because the washer dryer combo unit I use is really small. I did only put it in during the dry cycle. Not the wash cycle. But that just makes sense. Overall it didnt make any noticeable improvement overall on collecting the cat hair that Furball the cat produces. Maybe it just needs more space to work better.

I purchased the dryer maid balls after looking for a solution for cat hair. We have two cats who shed a lot and it seemed like our clothes still had a lot of hair on them after washing and drying. The first time we used the Dryer Maid Balls, there was an immediate difference. The lint trap was full of lint and cat hair. Although the balls seem to be deflating as we use them, there is a basketball-like hole that can be used to inflate them. Excellent product and solution for cat hair and lint!
