Q: It will charged the battery too ? Or is only a jump starter?

The manufacturer is correct, this is a jump starter only, not a charger. This unit only has a 35 watt hour capacity, it is not designed for charging. You need to purchase an appropriate 12 volt smart charger, such as a Noco Genius Charger. You should not need more than a 10 amp charger/maintainer. If you need a portable charging solution, there are large power stations with 110V AC inverters built in that you could plug a smart charger into. For example the Jackery 500 has a 518 watt hour battery with built in 110 volt (pure sine wave) AC outlet (500 watt max) for $500 on Amazon. It is 13 lbs, but I believe it would be just enough capacity to recharge a drained car battery with a Noco Genius charger. A typical car battery is about 50 amp hours of capacity. Say you had a battery that was at a 50% Depth of Discharge (recommended is 20%); this would be 25 amp hours @ 12 volts = 300 watt hours that need to be charged. Then you would have to account for AC inverter and DC converter inefficiencies. Therefore: (518 Wh x .85 x .8) / 300 Wh = 1.17 full charges. This should be just enough to fully charge a typical car battery. Keep in mind that this would not be enough to charge a larger (>50 Ah) deep cycle battery. P.S. The Noco Boost XL GB50 (jump starter) has 10,500 joules over 3 seconds = 292 amps @ 12V (for 3 seconds).

Yes, the Noco GB50 can charge a cell phone via the USB outlet. It's internal battery has 35 watt hours of capacity; or 9,459 mAh @ 3.7 volts. A typical cell phone has a 3,000 mAh battery. Here's a formula to determine number of charges: (power bank capacity x .85) / phone capacity = number of full charges (9,459 mAh x .85) / 3,000 mAh = 2.68 full charges

Q: Can this be used on 4 cylinder motors?

Not answering for the makers but personally I have jump started a Tundra V8 and two SUVs with 4 cylinders and works great every time. Buying children these for Christmas. Will not ever use cables and another vehicle ever again.
