I recently purchased one each of those new bar shampoos and conditioners. I realized I would just be losing all the shampoo if I left it out, so looked into buying some small cotton bags to store them in, or even using the bag itself (with the shampoo or conditioner inside) as a scrubber, which is what I did. I noticed that the bags are approximately the size indicated, some slightly larger, some slightly smaller, perhaps because of the seam width. But for my purpose they work, and I have extras to give to my daughter if she decides to use the bar shampoo!

These are nice size bags to be used for perfume cachets to go in drawers with clothing. I’m very happy with the size. They’ll be easy to fill.

The little linen bags were to be 2 inches by 3 inches and in each direction they were at least a half an inch smaller. I plan to use them with dried lavendar.

I was looking for something to use for small gifts instead of wrapping paper. This set of cotton muslin bags (with drawstrings) have been perfect. They are a good quality and the weave is tight. I would definitely recommend these.

Some of the bags had the drawstring sewn outside of the spot where the bags tightened.
