I’m really happy with this Lemon Zester & Cheese Grater! It was a little bigger than I expected, but still does the job — it’s very sturdy and easy to control while using. The sharp stainless steel surface works incredibly well and makes zesting citrus, grating Parmesan, garlic, ginger, and even chocolate quick and effortless. The non-slip grip feels secure in hand, and I appreciate the added safety cover and cleaning brush, which make storage and cleanup simple. It removes zest cleanly without digging too deep into the pith and grates cheese finely and evenly. Overall, this is a highly effective and versatile kitchen tool that delivers great results. This grater/zester is just what I needed for the kitchen! It works perfectly, pieces don’t get stuck in it, it peels smoothly, made from a nice quality metal and it looks pretty fancy. It is sharp enough to zest or shred quickly and with ease but without having to worry about personal injury while using it is very safe. It doesn’t slid while using it thanks to the grip at the end of it.

This zester has been a lot of fun using in my cooking. I love fresh grated hard cheeses and was getting tired of constantly having to get my big food processor out to grate cheese when all I sometimes need is a few tablespoons. The ease of using this zester not only saves me time in creating delicious meals in prep, but also in clean up. The design is perfect for all my needs. I have zested several different things, oranges, lemons, limes, ginger, garlic, and of course cheese. I love the fine shavings I get using this zester. And the clean up is a breeze. It's nice and sharp so you don't have to press hard at all. My family especially loves spaghetti night now, because I can shred a fine dusting of parmesan onto their plates right in front of them just like they do at fancy restaurants. The length is perfect, it's sturdy and lightweight, a great kitchen tool. This would make a fantastic gift for anyone who likes to cook!

I was totally surprised that it is so long! But to me, that's a plus. It stands on a surface and will make it easier to use versus having to freely hold it while using it. It's built sturdy. It comes with a brush to clean it or get all of the zest or whatever you're using for. I gave it a 4 as I've not used it yet. I'll update after I use it. I feel it's a good product along with a good price.

I’ve only recently gotten back into baking, or somewhat more elaborate cooking too, for that matter, after thinking that I’d ‘used those cooking motivation cells up’ during all of those years of raising kids, cooking for our sit-down-together-every-night dinners after full days of outside the home work. My now grown kids would brag to my still new hubby about my ‘wonderful’ cooking and baking and he’d assumed that he’d ‘missed the boat’ (likely because I told him that!)….but a combination of pandemic lockdown and feeling kitchen creative again found me in my kitchen, even reading new recipes again! That’s when I discovered a few things that although NOT new to most moderately OK home cooks/chefs, they were to me…one of which is the JOY of using citrus zest in my recipes! Which brings me to THIS WONDERFUL ZESTER! Not only is it a great size, makes it easy to hold over the bowl without spilling all over the counter, but it only needs moderate pressure and you get a LOT of feather light zest! No kidding- I zested 2-1/2 lemons using my old 1-sided flat grater (thinking I didn’t need a special one JUST for the few times that I might start adding zest into my recipes now) for the amount listed in one of my favorite new recipes; after receiving THIS tool I used just ONE(1) lemon for the same amount of zest (2T, if you’re curious)! Even accounting for any small size differential in my lemons, it was wild! Plus, my hands and fingers did NOT hurt, I never even came close to grating my fingers, and it was a breeze to clean; just ran it under hot water to get out/off the majority of what I couldn’t scrape into my mixing bowl (and didn’t need) and then took less than a minute with dishwashing soap and brush! I could have put it into the dishwasher but I prefer to hand wash most of my tools. Bottom line: this simple cooking tool is WELL WORTH its very reasonable cost and it stores easily in my standard depth kitchen drawer where I keep most of my tools! If you’re hesitating because you’re not sure that you REALLY need this, just be nice to yourself and hit the order button. You might even start putting lemon, lime or orange zest in all sorts of recipes, easily giving your old dish a new ‘pop’ of flavor!

I have been using a small hand zester… finally needed something that worked faster and better. This is perfect! It’s like going from 5 mph to 50 mph. It works great, it’s so fast and it is sharp. The protective cover really helps. A total winner

This grater is amazing. It grates perfectly. I make a home made mac-n-cheese where I hand grate 3 different types of cheeses, and I used this and it made the recipe effortless. Cut down my grating time from the typical box grater I was using and it created perfect, fluffy cheese shreds that melted effortlessly in the recipe. I have also used it to zest lemons and grate carrots and have been pleased with the results. It is sharp and makes any grating job quick. It fits nicely over a mixing bowl, so you can grate right into your recipe and it cleans up great and stores well with the safety top on it. I wish I would have bought this years ago. I could have saved so much time. This is the one to get on Amazon. Go for it!

This is a well made kitchen tool. The cutting edges are very sharp, and yet you can run a sponge to clean the underside without cutting the sponge. You can even run the sponge along the topside -- towards the handle instead of away from it -- and clean it without the cutting edges damaging the sponge. Used on mozzarella or Parmesan cheese, it leaves beautiful shavings. Also excellent for zesting lemons or limes. The blade guard protects those cutting edges, and you hands when it's stored in a drawer. All in all, a great product!

I've always been on the frugal side and would buy my microplanes from the dollar store. They would always eventually snap because the handle was plastic. I begrudgingly decided to finally buy one that cost more than a couple bucks and I'm not sure why I waited so long. You can tell the quality difference immediately. It feels sturdy and grates easily. It also cleans more easily than the ones I was getting from the dollar store. Definitely worth spending the few extra bucks for this and not having to worry about replacing it in a couple months time.

I purchased this for lemon zest and it is fantastic. I have also tried for garlic and it was extremely difficult as it almost cut my fingers. Shredding ginger was good.
