Exactly as described - very good and ideal for bio balls

Though larger than what I needed (my fault) these are well constructed. When needed I will certainly order more.

I wanted these to hold some pure pond bacteria balls (the small black ones) available from a certain manufacturer to suspend in the media chamber of the Nexus filter on my Koi pond. The package arrived with 12 mesh bags, each with a zip. Quality seems good, durability/lifespan unknown as they just arrived today. The small size of the mesh can be easily seen if you zoom in on my first photo against my fingers. One bag held the contents of a 1 litre tub of balls. I need two of these for the size of my pond, but, as you can see by the photos, one bag held the tub's 1 litre contents (almost full) without being packed in tight. Perfect. I suspended a bag of bacteria balls in my media chamber by using a length of fishing line attached to the zip (not the tab of the zip, but its body, incase the tab broke off) - see photo - so i could retrieve and refill when necessary. There appeared to be no strain on the zip or the bag as I lowered a full bag into the filter. Time will tell, but, with 12 in the pack, I think they should last me a long time. If they last I'll give them the extra star.

Use in aquariums for aquascaping. Got the idea from MD AQUATICS ON YOUTUBE. Also used for holding media as a more cost effective way.

Don't get me wrong, nothing was really amiss with the bags at all except maybe for the size when they measured up larger than advertised. They are however decent quality and I was able to cut one down to size and seal it again with some cotton so it fit better with the bio media for my interpet cf filter. I will be getting a slightly larger filter soon though and these bags will be perfect
