I had to do a coolant system refurb on my Jeep WJ 4.0. The main problem was a worn out fan clutch but it was leaking around the water pump too. I did the "while you're in there's" too so water pump, fan clutch, thermostat, thermostat housing, heater hose pipe and Fel-Pro upgraded gaskets with Honda-Bond RTV Silicone sealant and a new serpentine belt too. Everything worked great but to get the old fan clutch off I had to cut the nut part that screws on to the water pump shaft. I used a new Milwaukee M18 Orbital Super Sawzall, my reward for doing this DIY job. I didn't want to buy the Sawzall but after trying two parts store rental fan clutch removal tools with absolutely zero success, I got medieval on it. 15 minutes and two saw blades later the repair could proceed. The lower fan shroud fasteners are another pain in the ass for that job but after that, no big deal. After carefully cleaning all of the gasket surfaces and applying a reasonable amount of Hondabond, everything reassembled easily, I put the old hoses back in place refilled the system and burped it. Now my engine temperature stays right at 195 I think and beside warming up, the needle never budges. Before it would overheat if I wasn't traveling at 45mph+ and I had to add coolant almost every time I drove. That was mostly the fan clutch causing that but everything I used to fix it is working perfectly so far.

This stuff works great to keep bolts, lubricated, and preventing rust.

Some have said the bottle is not full enough. If it was actually full this would be super messy on the included brush. If i wanna be picky, ill say i wish the aplicator was a sponge instead of a hair brush because the hairs stick out everywhere. Good product 💯

Just like a well known hot sauce commercial… I put this stuff, on everything. If it fastens or bolts, or has the slightest chance of rusting together with another object, it’s getting some of this on it, because who has time to fight seized bolts when you work on something and anticipate having to do it again in a few years.

Every garage needs this, right next to the WD-40 and Ductape.

This is definitely excellent anti-seize. Far easier to apply than some of the other higher-heat range products on the market though this stuff is very messy, especially when the jar is new as the brush tends to hold onto a lot of the product at once and it easily spreads to your fingers/hands while applying it (highly suggest wearing disposable gloves when using this). That said, I've used my jar on countless bolts, still have plenty left for my uses and considering the jar cost less than some from a local big box retailer that is harder to use, I can't recommend this Loctite silver anti-seize enough.

Love the stuff. Just don't get it on your hands or everything you touch is going to be silver for the next while...
