Will this antenna work wit a vip 211z receiver and a 21,1 ir/uhf remote

A 211 or 211k or 211z do not need this antennae. These models are IR ( infared only) I assume you are using a second television and want to change the channel in the second room. For this situation you will need a IR extender ( available on Amazon) and a second IR remote ( available on Amazon).

I have a vip 211z, if i buy a remote 21.1 ir/uhf capable, how can use this antenna? my receiver has only one antenna! need antenna splitter?

If it is a 211 you do not need an antenna for it to work the box you just have to set it for the dish receiver

How do you hook up if you don't have a remote UHF connectin on your TV?

The uhf remote antenna is for the second satellite remote. You don't hook it to the tv, it goes on the satellite receiver because the satellite uses it instead of the normal IR that most remotes use. It's not for wireless tv or anything like that.
