American Defense AD-22 STD Riflescope Optic Mount, Black

This a solid low profile mount for a Burris Fastfire III micro rds. The mount comes with multiple screws to accommodate different RDSs and threadlock. Instructions were clear and to the point. Hand tighten only. The fit is perfect. There is no slop.The lock down level is well designed. You get a positive feel for the lock setting. Push out the lever a little bit and the lever is set. No way you accidentally undo it.Adjustment is easy as all you have to do is push on the lever side and rotate the screw. I did not need tools.It is not much higher than the original Burris mount.This is my second ADM mount. They are a bit pricey but they are well made and are much more secure than cheaper options.

As expected, another great product from American Defense. The FastFire III I used fit perfectly and the supplied screws did their job. The AD-22 does raise the sight up higher than the Burris picatinny mount, approximately .12 to .14", not a lot but visually noticable. The ADM mount is quite a bit bulkier as well. As far as function the ADM mount is great. Unlike many other QD mounts, you can adjust the AD-22 without any tools and to fit any picatinny rail. Once adjusted, it locks up very firmly. It is easy to remove yet there's pretty much no chance of it accidentaly happening.After sighting it in I did a couple(2) checks to see how well it returned to zero. I removed the mount and reinstalled it being careful to do it in the same manner as I did when initially installing it. Basically just holding it down against the rail and pulling it towards the muzzle while engaging the locking lever. I fired a 10 shot group after reinstalling. Both ten shot groups punched out the center of the target just like the initial group. It returned to zero perfectly in my opinion. Great mount for a great sight. I highly recommend it.

I have this mount in use under a Burris FastFire III red dot weapon sight. The combination of the 2 together is still extremely light weight. As a system, I have this mounted on a Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle in .308. Plenty of recoil on this sub-7Lbs rifle.If you are wondering - no, this mount + the Burris FastFire III do not sit low enough for co-witness via the factory ghost ring and front blade sights on the Gunsite Scout. I don't find this as an issue and is why I bought a quick release mount in the first place.The build quality of this product and anything else I have purchased from American Defense Mfg. is OUTSTANDING. The design is a great size, easy to operate and very solid. The positive secondary lock built into the cam lever is genius. No way to accidentally knock it loose as it requires deliberate manipulation to disengage the lock and cam-over the lever. The fitment for the Burris was spot on, and the ADM mount included the correct screws and the tooling to set them! A complete package and great consideration towards the customer experience. Nice work guys. Well worth the coin.

This QD mounts are a bit pricey but they work great. Adjusting the QD lockup is easily done with you fingers and no tools are required. The mounts come with screws to work with different optics. They are extremely well made and are miles above the cheaper alternative QD mounts found here and elsewhere. Well worth their cost.

Excellent base for the Burris FastFire III and a Tactical Solutions scope base for a rail. I was looking for a good solution to use in conjunction with a Pac-Lite barrel build I put together that I intend to hunt with. The ability to remove the base should the batteries die on my Burris Fastfire was what attracted me to the product. It's built well, and I was able to flip the lever so that it locked forward rather than back. The FastFire attached perfectly. It's a but higher than the sites so you cannot co-witness with it, but that shouldn't matter. I've attached photos for reference.

This is my second QD mount from ADM. My first is about 10+ years old and this second one is of the same top quality with bullet-proof functionality. The mounts are pricey no doubt, but I am absolutely satisfied.

Great mount. Its a little taller than the burris mount just so u know. Also if u need more hight you can get 1/8" and 1/4" spacers for the burris speed bead. You will also need longer screws. This mount with the 1/4" spacer works perfect with troy micro set. co-witness. FYI. I would tell u what size screws if I could remember. But I can tell u I found the same brand screw the AMD came with, just longer on ebay. Also the screws r not the same diameter as the burris mount. I think they r 1 size smaller.

Seems well made. Time will tell. Red dot fits and the mount locks down tight onto the rail. This ain’t no airsofter!
