Amfit Nutrition Whey Protein Powder 1kg Chocolate

Great price, mixes very well (good consistency). Tastes more like salted caramel than chocolate (it says chocolate on the label lol) but it's a nice flavour anyway so I don't care too much haha. Good bang for your buck re; strength/serving size. Smooth and easy drinking, nice sized bag and effective stuff. Will buy again.

There's so many shakes on the market, what one to choose? I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I may not like, so chose this brand on both price and protein content. I mix this with cold milk and shake before letting sit until I'm ready to drink it. I use a shaker bottle with a metal ball inside and I've never had issues with lumps. It actually tastes really nice. You get a nice thick shake with this mix - I bought another brand without a thickening agent in it and I don't care for the nesquik consistency of that one. Pack comes with a measuring scoop so no weighing out the powder. I use this as a breakfast shake and it keeps me going until my lunch break (about 4 hours). Tried coconut flavour also which was great - will likely stick with this brand as it ticks all the boxes. One downside for me is a bizarre cheesy aftertaste afterwards - slightly unpleasant, however washed down with a glass of water it goes away quickly. It is whey powder after all I guess and for me it's not intolerable.

This protein is great for the cheap price that comes with it. I came here due to more increased prices on other brands of protein I used to use. I have been having the chocolate flavour and mix less water than recommended and it tastes great, mixes really well to a smooth consistency. Only reason for 4 star is due to the awful seal on the packaging. But I would rather the seal stay like that and keep this low price!

Easy to mix

Pros - Mixes really easily in just a couple of shakes in a protein shaker. - Nice 'mouthfeel' once it's mixed, a bit like a McDs milkshake (which might be too thick for some) - Washes out of your mixer quite easily, doesnt leave 'that smell'. You know the one I mean... - Protein seems to be of decent quality - didn't give me gas. - Nice sized pack. - Not full of filler so not full of calories. Cons - Chocolate flavour is disgustingly sweet. Even my 13 year-old son wouldn't drink it, he said it was too sweet for him and he'll eat sugar out of the packet. It's sickly, incredibly sweet and doesn't taste of chocolate at all. Vile. - It obviously has some kind of emulsifier, you can't mix it with anything except plain milk or water or you'll end up with a stodgy mess (also see flavour) - The container/packet doesn't reseal once it's open. It should, it's a resealable zip lock style bag, but it doesn't. Cheap packaging. You will probably want to decant this into another container that actually seals. - It's not the cheapest. It's not the most expensive either though. 3 out of 5 starts from me. The sweetness is inexplicable, I wonder if they even tasted it themselves? There are other, better brands, IMO, but if you like your protein incredibly sweet with no appreciable chocolateyness maybe this is for you...

I bought this powder for my husband and we tinkered with recipes. Sharing the best one we found in case it’s useful: 1 scoop chocolate whey powder, 1 shot espresso, 200ml oat milk, 2 large ice cubes - whizz in a blender. It worked without the coffee shot but it was very (too) sweet.

Not worth the money ,doesn’t taste very chocolatey and weak obviously mixes well because it’s a poor protein shake , I had PBN last time and at £16 it’s much better

Ho provato queste proteine e sono abbastanza soddisfatto. Il sapore è buono e si scioglie facilmente nel latte o nell'acqua. L'ho usata dopo l'allenamento e mi ha aiutato a recuperare bene. La qualità delle proteine è buona e il prezzo è molto competitivo. L'unica cosa che manca è un po' di varietà di sapori, ma nel complesso è un buon prodotto per chi cerca una proteina di base.
