Radius Garden 38911 Complete 3-Piece Root Slayer Metal Detecting Shovel Kit, Red

I bought these since I have a lot of trees on my property and that means a lot of surface roots if I do landscaping, plant trees, fix a sprinkler or any other time I need to dig. I have broken a number of shovels over the years. I also own a number of rental properties and need to be able to have a strong lightweight shovel I can carry in my truck. These are simply fantastic tools and better than I expected. I highly recommend them. Cut right through the soil and clean up easily. It looks like it will last a long time and they are very well made.

If you have roots or tough grass you need to get into, these things are the best. The biggest is a bit heavier than I would have liked as am an older woman, but they sure do a great job. Even bought one for my older friend who does much more gardening than me and has clay to dig through and roots.

I didn't want to wuss out and use a skid loader to pull up a bunch of saplings from a CRP field. Used mainly the larger shovel to dig up close to 100 trees one day, some with 2" roots. Wasn't fun, but the tools made it fairly easy to cut thru the ground and roots.

Just received this item and went right to work on a root I been trying to dig up o a year and with the large root digger I had it up out the ground in 5 mins no joke. They are solid and well built should have ordered these a year ago lol.
