Super light, Comfortable, Running Barefoot
I love these shoes. I just began running (read super slow) and wanted a shoe that was super lite that I could run in barefoot, this is that shoe. The inside has no imperfections fits like a glove, and is so comfortable. I run 3-4 times a week and the shoe is great. Highly recommended.

Fit right, no break-in period, just the right amount of shoe for road racing. Though I might consider swapping out the insoles
I was hesitant to buy a racing shoe other than the Asics I have worn for 25+ years. I tried a few other brands - all were 'okay', but this New Balance 1400v6 fits very well, has just the right amount of 'shoe' and weight for an old guy racing. I was looking for something slightly more than a racing flat and this 1400v6 fits the bill nicely. I have used them for two sets of speed work with no problems and no break-in period. My first 10k is right around the corner and expect them to work very well.Note: as with most running shoes now days, the insoles are pretty basic. I swapped them out with a lightweight custom insole and now have a custom racer.

Perfect for a fast run ( 5K - 10K )
Perfect New Balance running shoe. As a runner I usually use these shoes for my 5K / 10K runs. They are light weight with limited padding. The price point is within my budget. Overall this shoe is perfect for my running needs.

New version with minor tweaks
Ok so first of all this is my second pair of NB1400. I used for a year the v4 version which was my go to race shoe. I loved everything about the shoe. Finally it was time to buy a new pair after many hundred miles of racing. My first impression was that the shoe was left mostly alone but then I notice that the tongue thickness had been reduced and is now very thin. This is ok if you are just running but I also do triathlons where I must transition from biking to running and when this happens I find that I loose a few seconds trying to get the shoe on because I’d the thin tongue. The cushioning is great, just enough and overall weight is very acceptable . I would recommend this shoe for running up to 10k.

Best workout shoe I’ve owned
Fits exact to US shoe size. 100% real and not fake (amazing considering it’s Amazon). Great aesthetics, breathable, light. I am 230 lbs and the cushion holds up under my weight.I use these for running and working out. They more than get the job done. I will buy these shoes again.

PERFECTION!
SUPER LIGHT AND COMFY! Ran a mile 1.5 miles with these today in 9 min 25 seconds and hit my mile mark at 6 min 7 seconds! THEN, 50 yard dash in 6.8 seconds! I am a HIIT training type of person so I’m always using my CrossFit metcon 2’s that are 11.5 ounces. These are 7 ounces which felt like feathers! Hence, my very proud time’s I just hit today!

Good for speed, not comfort
I bought these and the Brooks Revel 3, so I could compare them. Although the New Balance 1400v6 is a good looking shoe, it felt really stiff and didn't have any cushioning. I guess at 51 years old, I'm looking more for comfort than speed.

Lightweight racing flat at a great price!
These have been a regular racing flat for me for a little over a year. They’re super light with a mesh upper that is extremely breathable and still durable. I always blow out the uppers on my trail shoes but I’ve not had an issue with these. You really can’t go wrong with these for up tempo track work or faster races from the mile up to a half/full marathon.
