Perfect compressor setup
All the youtube videos showing this thing as a compressor cooler...failed to mention just how amazingly well it works! Almost had ya there. I wasn't sure just how well these setups would work, but I had to do something to eliminate water from my lines. This thing handles it like an absolute champ. Air temp going in, 250-275 easily...air temp going INTO THE TANK...85-90. Yeah..and thats even when the compressor is first charged from zero to 150psi. Now when I am runing the plasma I can just let her run and not worry. Water gets collected in a filter and auto drained before ever getting to the tank. I have yet to have any water in my tank drain. You do have to have a good plan for the tubing and all the fittings, but that's just following guides really. These fitting included work well, but are a little tough to get tightened if you try to do it in place. Highly recommend this unit for air dryers.

Good quality and fair price.
I originally bought this to use as an in line cooler for my air compressor but it was a fail. This restricted the air flow between the compressor and bottle raising the head temp of the pump from 210 to 265 degrees and increased the pump time to where I was running low on pressure. All that aside I did radiator mount it and ran my engine oil through it. It works perfect for its intended purpose. It’s versatile and worth the money. Easy to install

Perfect air compressor aftercooler!
Used this to build an aftercooler for my air compressor, as many apparently have done. This was a perfect model as it has 1/2" barb fittings on it already. Just bought some 1/2" copper tube, fittings, and a water trap and piped in between my pump and tank. The cooler is small, but just the right size to fill the space in front of the integral cooling fan in the pump drive wheel. A flaring tool its required for this. Took me a few hours to assemble, and worked without any leaks. The amount of water collecting into the trap was surprising! It works great! The copper pipe leading out of the condenser was cool to the touch. I'm sure this would work great for the intended application, but this is also apparently the perfect tranny cooler for a compressor aftercooler.

Great aftercooler for air compressor
Really dissipates the heat and condenses a surprising amount of moisture before the air gets to the tank. I’m using a big Emax 80 gallon / 10 hp compressor, air from the compressor head is fed thru this after-cooler, then to a Milton moisture/oil filter, then to the tank. I live in a generally dry climate.

Dropped compressor air temps by 200 degrees
I was blown away by how well this worked to cool the air between my compressor head and tank. It dropped my air temp by more than 200 degrees (up to 240 at some points). It is made for liquid cooling in the automotive world so the fittings are AN and you will probably need to get some AN to whatever you need adapters so keep that in mind, it's not pipe thread or standard flare or compression it's AN-8. They are not hard fittings to find you just have to remember to do it. Would recommend. Likes: Excellent cooling ability for my air compressor Simple hookups Came as described Reasonable price Dislikes: No mounting holes or hardware No pipe thread option Did I mention no mounting options...

used for an compressor Air dryer.. and yep it works just fine
following the lead on the guys who built these on youtube. I purchased this unit to act as an air dryer/cooler for my compressor.. yep.. works like a champ.. cant touch the air line out of the compressor (204+ degrees).. but after cooler the lines are warm to the touch ( 100+/- degrees) and considerably cooler than straight from compressor............ best part.. I have zero water in my lines.. and before water would drip from the quick connector when using.. all in project cost me about $150. well worth and highly recommend.

15309 cooler core
Used this cooler to reduce the air temp going into my air compressor tank. Defintely exceeded my expectations!! Great made product.

Works perfectly, until it doesn't
**UPDATE CAO Nov 2024. Unfortunately, I have to be honest and reflect that this lasted just a year. And the star rating HAD to be dropped to ONE star because this is fabricated with THE ABSOLUTE THINNEST level of copper you can buy! I can not believe how insanely stupid this was built. The joke is on YOU. Too thin to torque down and gosh forbid if you have to take it off.... Both of my input and output lines cracked exactly where everyone elses had failed. Terrible product for an outrageous price. Look elsewhere for a better made, thicker piece of actually copper. Has to be chinese made because there is NO way in h_ll this is made for cars as thin as this is.
