Longines Hydroconquest Automatic Blue Ceramic Bezel 41 mm Men's Watch L3.781.4.96.6

This is an incredible piece. I am 6'5 270# with an 8.5" wrist. I share that because the watch came with plenty of bracelet. I took 2 links out and it fits perfectly. The 41mm appears a bit bigger due to the crown. I have zero issue with the crown BTW. It never digs into me (I've been asked). It sits nicely away from my hand. The blue face is subtle. You will find yourself staring at it in the light. The ceramic bezzle is a boss. It is a treat to spin the bezzle cause it sounds incredible. The bracelet is eye catching thick but not distracting to wear. This watch is thin for its weight - I hate thick watches. Movement is silky. Setting it is easy. Accuracy is great. So what would I improve? My first ask would be a sandwich sapphire, meaning a clear watch back to see the movement. This is just a personal preference for automatic watches. This watch is so well made, I have to imagine the movement is beautiful to see. Second, I love the blue face. I wish it was 1 or 2n hades lighter. Like, just a touch more pop. With a few small adjustments, this watch would have been perfect. As is, it's not quite there. The dial is absolutely gorgeous. The blue has that wonderful quality of taking on a different hue in different lighting. Under direct sunlight, it is a deep, rich blue - comparable in beauty to the Aquis Calibre 400. The large arabic numerals are a striking and unique design feature; I like them. The anti-reflective coating on both sides of the crystal is so well done that it looks like there isn't anything between your eye and the watch face. It screams premium quality. Yes the crown guard is oversized, and yes that can irritate the hand, but it too is a unique feature that sets this watch apart from others. If the dial is a steal for the money, the bracelet explains the price point. It feels cheaper than the bracelets on mid-tier Seikos, for example - let alone a Christopher Ward. Worse, it's extremely hard to remove, and impossible to replace. Meanwhile the lugs are the worst design feature of the watch. They are oversized, which makes the 41mm variant of the watch feel bigger on the wrist than, for example, the 43.5 mm Aquis. The new Hydroconquest GMT fixes a lot of the failings of this watch, but it's more expensive and its blue variant is, in my opinion, has a less striking dial than this one.

Longines does not disappoint me. Strongly recommend it to everyone.
