Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 Unlocked Cellphone, International Version, 32GB, Black

This phone is everything I needed in a phone and more. I use Straight Talk and needed a phone that would get 4G (H+) signal. A couple of months ago I thought spending this much on a phone of this quality was a bit crazy so I tested the waters and purchased a Note 3 knock off phone from one of the Amazon venders, that was a big mistake and a waste of money. I could not get H+ service (only Edge) and performance and quality was sketchy (I know I was rolling the dice buying one but you will do some pretty stupid stuff when you're desperate for a new phone on a Ramen Noodle budget! lol) so I ended up putting it up for sale on ebay.This phone totally rocks, I put my AT&T SIM card in and updated my APN settings and right away was getting H+ signal, so for those Straight talk users who are wondering if it will work on the Straight Talk network, wonder no more! Make sure you get the Note 3 N9005 model if you decide to go with a different vender if you're looking to save money, I'm not sure if the other models of this phone will work on Straight Talk. The phone is just the great masterpiece everyone is talking about. I was worried, however, that it would be regionally locked, since I live in Brazil and ordered the european model. I had heard about some app to unblock it, and decided to risk buying it anyway. Fortunetly I had no problem at all, my brazilian SIM card worked just fine and I noticed that the RegionLock Away app was already installed. I didnt need to use it though.The phone came in a locked Samsung box, brand new with all of íits devices plastic wrapped from factory.The only (really minor) problem was that the instructions came in French, which I solved peeking at google translator until I changed the language to English, although I could have chosen a variety of languages, including Portuguese.Great phone!

I did a huge amount of research with Samsung Customer Care and had half a dozen calls and live chats with representatives in the USA, UK, and the Netherlands (where i intended to use it most).in conclusion Samusng doesn't really produce GSM where G stands for Global... this model is intended to be sold and used with 4G in the UK so I took a risk activating it with a Dutch SIM and it worked. I don't think it would have worked with a USA SIM.Apart from that - the phone arrived super fast and was in perfect new condition and state. So far (5 months) it has worked without any glitches and i highly recommend it. Obviously size is a double edged blade as it doesn't fit in many of my pockets but that is the only negative thing I can say.

This is a great phone. I only experienced two short lived problems. 1. This was my first experience of buying an international unlocked phone. When I first booted the phone, nothing was in English, it was all in French. So I had to guess at options until I found the setting to download the English language to my phone. There were no instructions about this; but after messaging the seller a couple of times, I finally got it figured out. 2. When taking it to AT&T to change my phone and service to this phone, several agents in the store spent about an hour and a half figuring out how to get the data to work. That was a bit of an ordeal but all the folks at AT&T were very nice and wanted to help. Once getting over those two hurdles, it has been smooth sailing. Like I said earlier, this is a great phone and mini tablet. To me, this is the best phone on the market. I give it 4 stars only because of the 2 hurdles I had to overcome. Other than that, it would be 5 stars in my opinion.

This phone is amazing. That pretty much sum's up the whole experience so far.I upgraded from a Nexus 4 so I wasn't expecting it to be a huge upgrade considering the Nexus 4 isn't that old, but damn! This phone has some major hardware in it! Everything loads very quick, the UI responds to my interactions almost instantly.The S-Pen was an added bonus for me as well. I wasn't expecting to use it much but it really is a fantastic tool for taking notes to remember stuff later. They also have some crazy advanced drawing/art apps that work great. Since the S-Pen/Note 3 are pressure sensitive you can do some really impressive drawing/art right on your phone! It's like a mini professional Wacom!The only downside might be the speaker, but even that was a upgrade compared to my Nexus 4 which had a terrible speaker. But you know what? The Note 3's speaker is plenty good for me!I ordered this phone on Amazon through Straight Trading, Inc. and they shipped it out via 1 day shipping within a couple hours and I had it in hand the next day in perfect condition.Setup was painless as well. All I had to do was pop out the micro-simcard from my Nexus 4 and put it in my Note 3! That was it. I then powered it on and setup all my accounts. My Google account restored all the settings/apps I had from my Nexus 4 on to my Note 3 and off I went!
