Good little pitcher with a strong seal
This little pitcher is great. Especially if preparing a drink to take somewhere. Definitely seals well. Has had a little bit of a funky smell around the sealer ring, but with enough soap, it’s not as noticeable. It holds a lot, too.

Super convenient to use
Absolutely love this pitcher! This glass pitcher is amazing — it’s everything I was looking for! It’s made of real glass, not cheap plastic, and the quality is truly European. It feels solid and looks beautiful on the table. Super convenient to use, easy to pour, and holds a great amount of liquid. I use it every day and honestly, I love it so much. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!

Love it
I like this because it's lower height fits in the fridge on a shelf. I like having a handle and pour spout. I use it for iced coffee and hummingbird food.

Happy
Packed well, arrived on time. Very heavy thick glass seems to have a nice seal, no leaking. Happy with purchase, I will be buying more pitchers from this brand, due to the quality.

Great for small space in the fridge
I bought two of these jugs to keep milk. My fridge has one of those half-sliding shelves so the space to keep tall containers like gallons of milk or any other bottle is very limited. The jug itself is amazing and holds just over a half gallon of liquid. The only downfall is the lid. It makes an airtight seal but when you spin the lid to use the pour feature hardly anything comes out. I end up taking the whole lid off just to pour. The size of the mouth of the jug is very wide allowing you to clean it with ease. Great purchase even with the wonky lid.

Why O Why The Lid!
I like a few things about the jar. It's nice and thick glass. The handle is long and fits well in your hand. When that lid will finally seal, it does as it says and stays sealed. I really like my RO water not to smell and taste like Deviled Eggs!!Now, why only 3 stars...The lid and gasket are good in theory but reality is something else. If you loosen it too much while it is on the jar, the entire thing falls down into the liquid inside of the jar. It will eventually form a seal although it can take 10 tries prior to doing so. You have to find the lids "honey spot" and hit it just right or it won't seal. The outer thick plastic will just turn and turn and leak after you've twisted it as tight as you can while the center piece is totally stationary. The trick is to really pay attention to how much you loosen it before setting it in place trying to seal it. It is NOT like each time you put it on you easily get a great seal and can loosen it like crazy 1st and go about your day. I'll have to monkey with it more as time goes by to get a good feel for how many turns work best. You have to work at it too many times for myself and the Mr. "I can do anything better than you" hubby's liking!! I got a kick out of listening to him in the kitchen griping about "this is the stupidest lid" whilst filling my water bottle!!It's got this ridiculous piece of plastic that comes off EVERY time you try to turn the lid. Either way. It doesn't matter. It comes off. What is it and why is it on there. I'll include pictures. 1st is of assembled lid, 2nd the circle impressions close up and 3rd the plsstic piece off lying next to it. They're not air holes. They appear to be closed totally so why is this loose piece of plastic on here to begin with? I see absolutely no function for it. Someone please enlighten me. I'm going to Google the thing to see if anyone on Reddit has a 100 + coment thread about this absurd little lid!!I find the pour spout to be too short. So much so that water spills all over if you touch it to a glass 17oz water bottle opening or while holding it in the air. It's too short to make that nice, long liquid spout which even a basic measuring cup can provide. You have to zoom in on the text and flip it in a picture only to be able to read. I can't read it any other way, from either side.O yes, the odor upon delivery once off opened the lid was just overpowering. The only things inside were the paper logo and the gasket on that side of the lid. It was very chemically and triggered my Autonomic Neuropathy and MCAS fiercely.Who shipped it?? It was ONLY wrapped in 1 layer of bubble wrap that had 2 strips of packing tape on it and thrown in a box with all of my other items purchased that day.No manufacturer packaging at all. No protective box or foam. Is that normal? Did I get a used item? If so, I want the used item price??? I've never had a product, especially glass shipped that way.

Highly recommended
This is my first glass pitcher, and I can honestly say I will never use a plastic pitcher again! Glass is way more versatile. I bought 2 of the 78 ounce pitchers primarily for making sun tea, but also use them regularly to store stock and even for making kimchi. Over a few months of heavy use (there's always at least one in my fridge), I'd like to address some of the concerns I was having before I bought them based on what I noticed from other reviews:When I first got it in the mail, I noticed a surprising lack of packaging. It would be easy to see how some people would have problems with it breaking in shipping. It also looked smaller than I was expecting, but don't ask me why.Since I'm not terribly familiar with ounces, I did a quick volume check and found it to be equivalent to a 2 Liter pitcher.I've never noticed any problems with the handle, whether I hold it with my palm against the inside or my knuckles. My husband has not mentioned having difficulties with it either. It's just fine in the dishwasher, even the plastic lid and rubber ring, which would have been a deal breaker for me. :) Not even a chip on the glass! It's heavy when it's empty and, logically, heavier when it's full, however I've not had difficulties with it being too heavy. Honestly, I like the sturdy feel as opposed to the flimsy feel of plastic pitchers.I don't have patience for complicated pouring procedures which it seemed many others were having to employ. I pour without thinking too hard about it and it doesn't spill. Any drips that do occasionally happen I attribute to operator not equipment. There seemed to be some confusion so I will clarify: you MUST take the lid off to pour; it's not that kind of lid.The airtight lid is an awesome feature. It's great for not making my fridge smell like chicken stock and the occasional fermenting cabbage. However, sometimes the rubber ring slips around and it needs to be readjusted to get the proper fit. If it's dripping, check the seal. And sometimes I do have a hard time twisting the plastic bar, which does feel a little flimsy, to get it open again. It fits conveniently in the fridge; more easily than our Brita pitcher.I've noticed no discoloration or lingering odors, which I had concerns about with the plastic lid. Some people mentioned being unable to use it with hot liquids. There is a paper in the packaging that mentions the specific range of temperature for thermal shock, and you'll need to keep that in mind if you want to use it for hot liquids. I usually temper the glass by filling it and letting it sit in a sink full of the hottest tap water. (Getting it fresh out of the dry cycle on the dishwasher is even better.) After about 5 minutes, I'll pour the water out and pour the hot liquid (usually stock in my case) in. The stock is still hotter than the glass so I let it sit a few minutes more. Then I'll start to add lukewarm water to the water in the sink and gradually lowering the temperature until the water is cold. Let it sit a few minutes longer until the glass is cold before putting it in the fridge. The challenge there is to move it through the temperature danger zone quickly without shocking the glass. The whole process takes 10-15 minutes, the hardest part being chilling it before putting it into the fridge. In conclusion, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to friends and family.
