Squalane Cleanser, Facial Cleansing Balm and Hydrating Makeup Remover

my go-to cleanser and cheap enough I can use it for a full body wash when my skin is being sensitive. Pleasant smell. Very mild, my acne-prone skin likes this!

My face has been really sensitive lately and I really like this cleanser!! It’s budget friendly and really good for sensitive skin. I also like it takes my mascara off and doesn’t irritate my eyes!!

I love all The Ordinary products but I really feel this cleanser does a great job! I use it before a foaming cleanser. It’s gentle on my skin and I feel it really removes dirt.

Okay, I bought this on a whim. I have pretty severe sebaceous hyperplasia. I have had chemical peels. I’ve had them burned off, frozen, I’ve used topical retin A from my dermatologist. It always rages back. I saw a review say this stuff shrinks them and makes them much less visible. I was put off by the price, but let’s face it, I’ve dropped a lot more than this.My first wash, I did not use anything to remove my make up. I wanted to see if this got rid of it by what was left when I used my toner. Initially, I thought this stuff would be greasy. IT IS NOT! It COMPLETELY MELTED MY MAKE UP AWAY! I have used it daily for about two weeks. It is unlike anything I have ever used. It leaves my face clean, but not dry. It isn’t oily either, like some make up removers that then require soap and water. I have purchased most of the face cleaners in Ulta. I have never, in my oily 57 years, used anything like this. The price point is amazing considering what it does. It even removed my waterproof mascara???? I don’t know what is in this, and frankly I do not care. It’s hot where I live, and my SH is not growing. My skin feels clean. It’s not dry. It’s not greasy. I write reviews only occasionally, but I want others who have struggled with oily skin issues for years to know there’s something out there for us. I can’t speak to dry skin, but it feels extremely gentle. Am I rid of my excess oil completely? No, but I have other solutions in my toolbox for that. I will do without other things to buy this again and again. I love other products from The Ordinary, but THIS one is the Holy Grail. I still have bumps from SH. However, they are almost flat, and much less noticeable. For my fellow sufferers out there, this helped me. They’re no longer the first thing I see when I look in the mirror. I don’t feel like people see them and wonder what the heck is on my face. Many thanks to The Ordinary for a decently priced, effective product that does what it says.

The Ordinary brand never disappoints!! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I feel like as of lately, and NOT JUST The Ordinary brand, but TONS of brands, are trying to save or skimp out on us b/c of EVERYTHING being so expensive!! Great thing about The Ordinary brand is the prices!! No scent. Very creamy which is nice. Doesn’t dry my skin out!

Follow the directions, this is Fabulous! Used on dry skin or wet this cleanser & makeup remover is sensitive, non drying, and leaves you with skin that honestly feels younger and nice to the touch. There is no scent and no type of reaction. I have Older Woman skin and these natural ingredients are true! It priced right as well & Cruelty Free!!!

I should have taken a before and after picture. The skin on my face has really cleared up. I have less red bumps on my checks. Day 3 of using it, my face did get a bit irritated as it was adjusting to the new routine but I’m less than a week in and it looks so much less irritated.

Normally I really love The Ordinary’s products, and this one seems to work ok but the smell is so off putting I can’t use it for the appropriate amount of time. It smells like old lipstick, for lack of a better description. The tube came sealed and everything seemed fine with it but it just smells old to me and it grosses me out. Excellent price, and I want to like it, but I’m just struggling with the smell.

First of all, this has an oily texture so if you have acne or prone to spots you may want to check it with your skin doctor first. In my experience I can say that I absolutely love this product and it does clean and prepares my skin very well for the serum/cream after.
