Love this emu oil. This is the second time I have purchased from this seller. Very good oil - no clumps or inclusions. Smooth and no odor. Highly recommend! I use it nightly in my skin care routine. With cooler temps now here it offers my skin that extra boost of protection.

Update 3-25-17: I've continued using this oil and now my husband uses it too. He was really impressed with the difference it made on his 73 year old skin. His pores got smaller. The texture of his skin is smoother and moister. Even his wrinkes seem softer. As for me, my skin is now "bump" free and the skin tone has evened out. I really do think over time it makes your skin look a little younger and softer. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this is some miracle oil. BUT...it has made a noticeable difference in keeping my skin looking healthier and softer. Update 10-5-16: I've been using this oil for a while now and have had some nice surprises. As mentioned below, I have been using this Emu oil on my hands. I got in the habit of rubbing the excess oil on my lower arms after massaging the oil into my hands. At the age of 70 I had developed age spots on the backs of my hands and lower arms. Well guess what...the spots have faded significantly. Actually you can hardly see them now. Also I had developed several kind of mole looking bumps on my face. I had been thinking about going to a dermatologist to get them checked just to be on the safe side but no need now. Within a few weeks of starting to use this as a moisturizer at night and in the morning the raised bumps started getting smaller and are almost gone. I had reason to research Emu oil recently and discovered it penetrates below the surface layer of your skin which helps deliver healing properties to relieve various skin conditions. I came to Amazon and found Leven Rose. You can read more information about Emu oil in their description. Bottom line...I decided to try a bottle of Leven Rose. Within a matter of days a skin problem I've had on my left hand for months has cleared up significantly with only a little scar tissue remaining. That looks to be disappearing too. I had tried other creams including Cortizone-10. At 70 years of age, I also have wrinkles like everyone else. Fine lines seemed to fade and more pronounced wrinkles softened. This isn't a miracle oil but it sure does help and it will be a mainstay for me from now on. My husband says he sees a nice difference so that's all that matters to me since he has to look at my face every day...lol. Emu oil is heavier than a lot of other oils such as Jojoba (which I also love) but it seems to penetrate the skin quickly and the softening effects last. Within minutes of applying any oily feeling had disappeared. You can use it sparingly as it seems to spread quite well after it hits the warmth of your skin. I put it on my face before I go to bed and when I wake up, my face still feels moist and soft. There's no fragrance to this oil and it's organic. I see nothing to dislike about Leven Rose Organic Emu Oil so I highly recommend it. By the way, I had a question so sent them an e-mail. The response was quick and informative so I'd say they have good customer service as they ended the reply by saying contact them with any problems or questions because my satisfaction is always important so I like that.

this works well as a night-time moisturizer but is too thick and oily looking for daytime for me i’ve tried many plant based oils and felt like they didn’t absorb in my skin but just sat on top one i tried was from this same company, when i told them that, they refunded me and gave me a 20% off coupon to try something else (A+ customer service), and i chose the emu oil it does feel like it absorbs in my skin rather than sit on top and just wash all off in the morning, when i wash it off with micelles water, my skin still feels moisturized

It is a fat and just like every fat it can (and will) go rancid if not properly stored and has a shelf life of about 2 years but longer if you freeze it (you could use an ice cube tray so you can use a little at a time). Things happen and mistake get made, we are all human and things slip past quality control, if it smells rancid send it back. Also never buy or use an emu oil that has added fragrance, that is a red flag to me that says low quality and they are trying to cover it up. That being said, I am loving this oil! I hate lotions because they never absorb into the skin, especially hand lotions but this absorbs in minutes! If you are feeling greasy after 10 minutes you've used too much and/or did not massage it in properly and any excess can simply be wiped off with a microfiber towel. If you are still struggling with absorption try ostrich oil, it has a higher skin permeability than emu oil. I have seen some reviews talking about the color/texture of the oil; refined emu oil can be an off-white to slight light yellow, can have a slight cloudiness, with a light almost watery viscosity (this can change with temperature) but it really depends on the diet of the animal and the refining/distillation process of the oil. A dark yellow, red or brown is indicative of poor refining techniques and/or low quality product being cut with other oils. A clear emu oil is usually ultra refined and often strips all the beneficial vitamins, it can absorb slightly faster but is typically higher in cost. Since emus are endemic to Australia the genealogy, farming practices, and processing methods the unrefined Australian emu oil is far superior, especially when talking about pain relief. And on a final note, not everything works the same for everyone. Yes some can be allergic to emu oil, some supplements/medications can cause negative interactions and even though it is non-comedogenic some people still may experience clogged pores and breakouts (thankfully it has helped my very acne prone skin) Start with only a drop or two; don't be afraid to add it to your serum, moisturizer or sunscreen. Don't forget to do a patch test on the inside of the elbow (where they draw blood) or behind the ear just to be safe.

This is an excellent product. I’ve used emu oil for a severe burn on my hand many years ago. I kept it covered and moistened. It healed my skin to the point that my skin looked amazing, no scaring at all. That was years ago and the oil I had used worked but it smelled like chicken. This oil has no smell and it works great on aging skin. I’ve used it for over a year. The quality is outstanding. I love that it is organic and made in the US. Thanks for making an excellent product.
