It's nothing fancy, but it really works. I recently adopted two cats, a first for me, and quickly became overwhelmed by the odor. We cleaned the litter regularly and even tried a scented litter, but the smell just wasn't going away. I ordered a package of these, placed them near the litter boxes, and in the corridors and stairs leading to the litter boxes, and THEY REALLY WORK! We went away for the weekend after I bought these, so I don't think it is that we got used to the smell. I used to pick-up on the odor right when I got home, but after the weekend away, the smell still had not returned.The black fabric is not fancy, but it is unobtrusive and it does blend in. They are about 5" across, which is larger than I expected, but when placed under a counter or in the corner you won't even notice they are there. The price is right, and I will certainly order again if/when I need to.

I was renting a car and it smelled of stale cigarettes. I put one of these bags in and two days later, the smell was officially gone. The car smelled brand new.I put another bag in my room. When I'm sitting in my room for a long time, it starts to smell musty. I hung a bag on my door and I have never smelled the same musty smell ever again.I have no use for the other three bags right now so I plan on giving them out to family members that need it. Compared to the other bamboo charcoal bags online, this is the cheapest with the most in quantity. However the bags suck out bad odors and refresh the air perfectly. Plus, I barely have to recharge them.

I can't really speak to their effectiveness yet; that will take time in my application. But, I can say the quality of materials and construction is satisfactory. I love that they're essentially "rechargeable" with sunlight. I appreciate that they come with the grommet to allow for easy hanging.

I let my dogs live inside part of the time. And from time to time, especially, the bedroom has a doggy smell. I have been using the Fresh Wave products which work very well, but these bags can be renewed by putting them in the sun. I didn't fine them effective. I also tried putting one in a musty wooden chest and was disappointed with that one also.
