Microfiber Acrylic Sport Weight Yarn. The key word here is microfiber. I did not realize I was getting something the size of lace tatting or embroidery thread. I have worked with this size thread before but this is the first time I have seen it called yarn. When I poked around on the internet BEFORE ordering it, I saw that it used a 3-5 crochet hook, not a tatting hook. I think a # 3 hook seems huge for this size "yarn." Why one would call it "Sport Weight" is beyond my ability to understand. 'Sport Weight' causes me to envision chunky, knitted cardigans! It is overpriced at this price point.

I hope this is great for little shiny amigurumi. Unfortunately, it is not. While the color is very vibrant it is not at all silky looking. Also when I wound it there were a few knots from the manufacturer
