Excellent Purchase & Product
I've been meaning to get out here and submit a review for this product for some time now because I believe it is very deserving. First of all, it's a purchase of a great USB cable like this that just proves you DO NOT need to purchase cables from big box retailers, such as Best Buy, that often charge excessive prices for cables whether it's USB, Ethernet, HDMI, component, etc. in order to get a high-quality cable at a good price. I'm a loyal Best Buy customer as well and make a the lion's share of my electronics purchases from there but I've always believed they often charge too much for interconnectivity cables - not always, but often - so, depending on what you're after, it's always worth doing a little research online to see if you can't find what you need for a much better price. With this particular cable, it appears to be very solid with a good build quality and it works perfectly. I'm not such a techie that I'm running it through speed tests to analyze the throughput and packet or signal integrity but there's nothing about my experience using it so far to suggest that it's anything but outstanding. My son actually uses it to connect his PVR device that's attached to his Xbox to the desktop computer so he can record and edit his game play so the data being transmitted is graphics and video which is intense. I'm not familiar with what kind of compression technology that the PVR uses and I'm pretty sure the hardware and software is designed to accelerate the transmission but the point is it works as expected and I have no complaints and especially so for $5.50 with free 2-day shipping due to my Amazon Prime subscription. I know that the review is supposed to focus on the product itself and there are alternative forms for providing feedback regarding packaging and shipping but I still think it's worth noting here that the packaging Mediabridge shipped this single cable in was outstanding. It literally came in a small, sturdy box with excellent labeling and the Mediabridge branding printed on it - I was just floored because the package alone looked like it could have cost nearly as much at the total price for the cable! You just don't always get that kind of quality in packaging and especially so for a product that's under $6 so not only wasn't I expecting it but I was thoroughly impressed. It really conveyed a professional image and just instilled greater confidence in the product and the company - I'd never hesitate to purchase from Mediabridge again in the future and, in fact, I will be sure I shop with them first when looking for cables in the future. This purchase amounted to perfect experience with a perfect product and 110% satisfaction as a customer.

Mediabridge Value and Excellence
I just bought a printer, and as usual, there was no USB cable accompanying it. I looked around for USB cables that were around 6 to 10 feet long because the location of my printer is some way from my laptop. This was one of the most affordable ones that I found and it worked without a hitch. Customers buying USB printer connection cables need to find out if the connection requires a male and female contact point (most of the time it is the case), which is exactly what this cable provides. As expected, when I started printing, scanning, and faxing from my computer, all went well. I use these cables in my recording studio to power a variety of devices. I use these on my USB Keyboard, 2X4 USB Interface, Printers, etc. The build quality is great and should perform for a long time. I also want to make a small comment about the delivery. I expected this product arrive in the Amazon brown box with the cable in a plastic bag thrown within it. The delivery service was actually great from Amazon, and for better insulation and protection, the cable was shipped in a fitting Mediabridge box within the Amazon brown box. So, unlike some third-party sellers on Amazon, I think that its worth highlighting this to other fellow online shoppers about such positive collateral delivery benefits if purchasing from Mediabridge through Amazon. Hope you found this review useful.

Works Good, Cheap Price
I bought a 10' USB printer cable from Best Buy because I needed it right away, and it was the longest cable they had. I paid $30 for it, and it ended up being a few feet too short. I found this cable on Amazon for only $7.45 and it works just as good for a quarter of the price! I also signed up for the free trial of Amazon Prime (I've been wanting to anyway to stream movies & TV) so I also got free 2-day shipping. The bottom line? No more shopping at Best Buy, I'll be shopping on Amazon.com instead. When we went to return the 10' cable to Best Buy, the Geek Squad person handling the return asked why we were returning it. When I said it was too short, they mentioned that we could have got a USB extension to go with it to make it longer. Well none of the helpful sales people mentioned that, and I was already paying $30 for only 10', so now they want me to pay who knows how much more for an extension cable? It's no wonder Best Buy is having financial problems. They hardly live up to their name. With Amazon Prime 2 day shipping, it will be very unlikely that I'll ever shop at Best Buy or any local over-priced store again.
