Grow Your Own Venus Fly Trap: Just Add Flies! (RP Minis)

More difficult than you think, it may be the area that im in. I was unable to get any of the seeds to grow. Best to order the grown plant.

It was great. It was more than great. It was amazing.

Followed the directions exactly. Nothing happened.

I just got my Mini Kit today and it is just a little bigger than a deck of cards. Seeds (2) look like flakes of dirt...can hardly see them. After soaking them 24 hrs you have to refridgerate them for 3 weeks! I was a little surprised by how long the process will be. Then somewhere around 6 weeks after that we should see growth. This may actually work but I am very skeptical. I will update how everthing goes in about 3 months when I should see some progress. Hope this doesn't change the mind of someone from trying but I would suggest to buy the plant itself...it has to be more satisfying than this (especially for kids that aren't very patient...like mine).

I assume there was once a seed in the packet, but all there was in our packet was some tiny pieces of grit, the seed must have been crushed. This was our second purchase, the first one never germinated.

Its waste of money. All seeds were damaged. Better order from china.

It didn't grow. I suspect the seeds were bad to begin with.

Unfortunately the planter arrived broken and the seeds were loose in the box instead of inside the seed envelope.

When I received this product I was mainly impressed by the pot and sand that came with it. MAKE SURE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not follow the instructions given in the kit, do some research on the plant. These instructions contain common errors that leave you with some dead plants, assuming the germination was a success. My seeds germinated in 2 weeks because I took Time to research. Overall great kit (minus book)
