Why use polystyrene packaging like this??? Totally unacceptable by today's standards. Plenty of environmentally friendly alternatives 🙄 the sauces already came packed in a suitable cardboard box. No need to send me an A4 box full of polystyrene.

Wow blow your head off, if you like it hot get hold of this stuff.

Very tasty and although we received this as a present, we will be buying more when the time comes. We love spicy food but these sauces were something else. Turning a simple oil and balsamic dip into a tongue tingler. A touch to spiced rice or pasta or a nice chilli or chicken dish. Very tasty.

None of these are particularly vinegary, which is great for me, as most hot sauces don't actually seem to taste of anything but vinegar and heat. The chipotle & pineapple is mild, but very flavourful and I can bung quite a bit of it on a burger for example. The ghost pepper sauce is just a perfect amount of heat for me - enough you definitely know it's there without numbing your mouth and tastebuds.

Tastes more like just chilli mash and water. There's hardly any salt, vinegar or sugar in these, so they really do taste of almost nothing. I guess if you like really bland food these are for you. I guess you could use them as a marinade, but adding more salt would be essential as like i said they are extremely lacking in any seasonings.

Bought this set as a gift for my dad who usually doesn't find spicy foods spicy. The sauces actually made a very good impression on him and he wants more! Great selection of flavours also helps!

Also ich bin es jahreland gewohnt sehr scharf zu essen. Für die Profis ist das vielleicht Kindergarten, aber die rote Sriracha ist für das "Fußvolk" meistens schon to much. Diese kann ich mittlerweile mit dem Esslöffel essen und es macht mir nichts aus. Deshalb hatte ich Respekt vor den Soßen weil ich dachte, dass sie noch einige Level darüber sind. Ist aber gar nicht so und die Schärfe ist - aus meiner Sicht - sehr gut ertragbar. Es ist nicht dieses typische Zungenscharf, wo man denkt jemand hält einem ein Feuerzeug an die Zunge. Es ist mehr ein Rachenbrenner, den ich jedenfalls sehr gut vertragen kann. Was mich bei den Saucen total überrascht hatte war der extrem fein abgestimmte Geschmack. Es handelt sich bei den Soßen nämlich nicht einfach nur um eine Soße, die eine unvorstellbare Schärfe erzeugt und dabei der Geschmack komplett auf der Strecke bleibt. Im Gegenteil! Geschmacklich sind die Bastard Saucen mMn. nach TOP abgestimmt und man schmeckt deutlich die Hauptzutaten heraus. Also keine Soßen, wo man das Gefühl vermittelt bekommt, dass die Soße aufgrund der Schärfe gar nicht erst den Magen erreicht und vorher im Bereich der Rippen austritt. Oder wo man am nächsten Tag beim "Afterburner" denkt, dass es die Kloschüssel zerberstet und das SEK mit einem Bombentrupp anrückt. Heute bekomme ich die nächst höheren Saucen von Crazy Bastard geliefert. Sollten wir uns nicht mehr hören, dann war diese deutlich heftiger und ich habe mich in Einzelteile aufgelöst ;-)

Die Saucen haben genau den richtigen Schärfegrad und schmecken fruchtig. Auch die unterschiedlichen Chili Sorten kann man herausschmecken.

Eine der leckersten oder sogar die leckerste scharfe Soße, die ich je gegessen habe. Besonders die Ghost Pepper Sauce. Sie ist echt scharf und brennt, aber da nur 7% Ghost Pepper drin ist, ist es für Chili Fans eine angenehme Schärfe. Die Saucen sind viel zu schnell leer; deshalb muss ich unbedingt bald nachbestellen. Auch die anderen Saucen muss ich probieren. Ich bin jetzt schon gespannt. Zu schnell verbraucht für diesen Preis. Und die Schärfe hält sich in Grenzen.
