I liked the easy installation and how well made the brackets are. Now when I release the hood it pops up from the latch making it a lot easier to open.If you own a 2nd gen Tacoma you won't be disappointed if you purchase these hood shocks.

Great price, installation instructions can be confusing

The media could not be loaded. The price is cheaper than other hood strut hardware. The struts fit my 2009 toyota tacoma, however the installation instructions were confusing. The product seems solid and comes with rivets as fasteners. I replaced the riviats with self taping sheet metal screws, which makes the installation on the fender easier due to clearance when using a rivet gun. So far so good, we will see how long the struts will last.

Package arrived ripped open. Not Compatible Mojave Hood

Packaging looked like it was used and ripped open when arriving to the house. Also be advised there were no instructions and this DOES not work with the Mojave hood. No idea how you would attach the top bracket that goes on the hood. It’s going back to Amazon.

Works Great!

The struts were really easy to install and the instruction were simple and straightforward. The struts work great and prop the hood up and retract smoothly when closing the hood. All the parts were there and seem to be good quality. Literally took 20 minutes to install.
