More Than Just For Looks - SAFETY
Very nice to have an extra bag of chips as I personally like to have more than less. Not only do they hide imperfections in the concrete, but they also help the floor from becoming slippery when wet. This is a MUCH bigger issue than most people realize, especially if you include the High Gloss Clear after the color.Make sure the same person applies the chips; don't try and have two people do it. It WON'T Match! Speaking of which, highly recommend you toss the chips slightly in the air to help them distribute evenly. Tossing directly at an area will create a thick section.I have now done 6 garage floors and every one has come out exactly or better than expected with the Rust Oleum SOLVENT Based Epoxy, and their extra chips. PREP is KEY. It is not fun, takes long, and tedious, BUT no product will work if the Prep Work is not done properly. So dont blame the manufacturer if you don't take the time to do it rightBack to this review... Do yourself a favor and add in extra chips to ensure a Good Looking, SAFE garage floor.Cheers!

I like the product
I like the product. However, please make sure the chips are not totally crushed/powdered; that's of course, unless that is the look you are after. Ordered several bags and 3-4 of them were quite crushed, but doe to the how the work was scheduled, I did not have time to return and reorder-they would have not come in time which would have postpone the job for another week or so. I ended up getting few more bags at HomeDepot and price was quite close. Good luck!

Garage floor looks great.
We ordered two kits for our garage floor to be sure we had enough and we ordered extra chips. The floor looks great. My nieces and nephew use our garage as a play room to romp in and we wanted the floor to look nice. The product was easy to use and we love the clean floor. As with any application of this kind the prep is the most important step in the process. Our garage is 30 years old and was stained. My husband rented a diamond grinder and went over the entire floor with it. That remove the surface stains and smoothed out the concrete where we repaired chips in the floor. We'd use this product again.

Good luck!
Unless you have a lot of artist in you, applying these evenly is a chore. I kept throwing them up in the air to get them evenly spaced until I used 3 times more than I should have. No fault of the chips, but applying them is an art.....not a science.

Looks great...for about a month.
Do yourself a favor and spring for the professional, %100 solid epoxy. This stuff looks great after it goes on, but the gloss last about a month. The decorative chips then start coming up gradually over the next few months. Finally, it will start to peel. This was after tedious prep, including a walk-behind grinder and several hours of power-washing. I'm sure it would last longer with the clear-coat rolled on later. But at that point you're up to about $250. The pro stuff can be bought for about twice that and lasts forever.

I am well pleased with their look on my floor
I was surprised to see so many chips in one package and some of them so small. I am well pleased with their look on my floor. They cover up a multitude of sins (small bits of dirt) that get on my floor occasionally! I am well pleased.Mary Frank

Just what we needed !
My husband bought a kit to do the garage floor, after applying the epoxy to the floor, he applied the decorative chips, then.. he somehow dropped the chips outside the garage and the wind took them(OOPS) We had 1/2 the garage done, and had to match the Blue and Gray Blend. We went to many Big Box stores to find them to match and they didn't carry them. I called Rust-Oleum in a panic and Amazon had them to us the next day! what a relief. It looks wonderful. Thanks Amazon!

Not what I thought.
Just beware - these are not to be used with the countertop paint. These are bigger and are more intended for garage floors.
