Why only now, Nutrafol? But better late than never. This product is amazing, I thought I was going to resort to the most expensive way of restoring my hair, this product really works! I have tried all kinds of restore-hair products, nothing worked so when this came out I ignored it, I didn't want to be so very disappointed again! But my hair was shedding faster and faster everyday it was only a matter of time I'd be completely bald! I gave in and tried it. Like what the manufacturer suggested, wait for at least three months. First, I tried taking two capsules in the first two weeks as what I've read in some reviews, but I thought why not follow the direction if I wanted results, so I took them as directed, and I'm glad I did because after about a month and a half, I started noticing something, some baby hair growth! And my self-confidence started to come back and very hopeful. This product is really a game changer, it's expensive but not as expensive as the implant or surgical method and most of all, it gets the job done! First, it stopped the shedding of my hair that was like crazy! I still get two or three locks on the shower floor now, nothing compared to like hundreds, no kidding! I have so many bald spots that I started wearing wigs or "toppik" products but that thing itches so bad and gets on your fingernails. Now, the bald spots started to grow some hair couldn't wait until it's all covered with hair like when I was younger, hopefully. So, if you are on the fence about this like I was, don't, I regretted it, I could've already had at least half of the thousands of locks back on my head but the good thing is I will be in that scenario in the near future, maybe towards the end of this new year 2026, I pray so. I have bought this product for 4 months and I'm undecided. Seems like no new hair growth but they do say between 4 and 6 months to let it pan out I guess but I will say that taking the product I am a lot calmer and not so high strung so not sure if it's worth the $88 I spend on it but for right now I'm going to give it a chance

I am a 64 year old female who is a biker. I had super thick hair up until menopause. Natural auburn curly/wavy hair. I color it now however (have been for years). It has been gradually thinning on top. My mom had very thick hair. My dad (redhead) was bald on top. Mine is to the point where I am pulling it back to help conceal the thinning on top. I told my husband that if I didnt get this hair issue reversed, my two Harleys were going up for sale, because I wasnt going to be a bald biker chic. He is the one who told me about this product. After two weeks of using this, I am seeing new growth all over my head. I am also using rosemary oil daily and use a scalp massager daily. Along with these, I take collagen peptides. So, I can't say for sure what is working - it could be a combination of everything. But this product has to be playing a role in this without a doubt. I started taking fish oil supplements today also, which are supposed to be good for hair growth. Am hoping to get at least 50% back of what I have lost over time, and get it thickened back up again. Im doing everything I can short of seeking professional help and spending thousands of $$$ on PRP or transplants. Fingers crossed! *Update* Am thru my first bottle and just ordered my second. Those first new growth hairs are now an inch long. Prior to this, I would shed a handful of hair each time I washed it. Shedding is now minimal. Everywhere I part my hair, there are baby hairs popping up. I can't tell you how relieved I am to be seeing improvement and new growth. I continue to use rosemary oil at night, massage my scalp, take protein supplements and collagen peptides, and fish oil. I am using a shampoo with rosemary oil. I'm not relying on one product for success. I think it's been a team effort from several products. Whatever I am doing, it's working!!! Update with pictures. I am thru my first 4 months of using this and my 5th bottle is on the way. I am no longer keeping my hair pulled back. My almost bald spot at the back of my head is gone. Any light areas you see are grays because I am 2 weeks out from my last color job, and it grows super fast. I am beyond happy with the results I have gotten from using this. My issue is hormones, and this product appears to block the hormone that chokes off the blood supply to the follicle. Happy, happy 64 year old!!

I’ve been using Nutrafol Women’s Balance Hair Growth Supplements for a few months now and have seen real improvements. My hair feels thicker, fuller, and healthier, and scalp coverage looks noticeably better. This is one of the few clinically proven supplements that has worked for me, and I appreciate that it’s dermatologist recommended. However, I did experience acid reflux and stomach discomfort when taking the full 4-capsule daily dosage. After adjusting to 2 capsules a day, the side effects disappeared, and I’m still seeing positive results. Overall, I’m very satisfied and will continue using it. I just hope the manufacturer can improve the formulation to be gentler on the stomach, which would make this product truly perfect for women looking for hair regrowth and balance after 45.

So far no results I'm on month 2 going into month 3 Hair still sheds at 60 to 80 a day No new growth yet Background story I'm hypothyroid due to having my thyroid removed in 2015 I take levothyroxine daily I lost so much hair following removal of thyroid which never grew back after a few years the heavy shedding tapered off My hair loss is all over my head thin patches everywhere so I keep it very long to help cover up how bad the loss was I went thru menopause at age 40 I'm 59 now I've tried everything and nothing has worked There is no hair loss in my family at all nor does anyone have thyroid issues My thyroid levels are tested every 4 months at the VA and there in normal range as long as I take my med So I've tried viviscal for a year no results at all figured I'd try to this because people point out ya know you have a bald spot above your ears I take iron I take d3 I'm hoping this helps me I take mine in the evening right after dinner my only big meal of the day So far no issues taking them that way I'm going to give it a year and see what happens like I said I've noticed no new growth anywhere as if yet Update month 3 1/2 never missed a day very faithful to this.3 weeks ago I started losing large amounts of hair in shower nothing has changed in my life for this to happen looks like 200 a day.Very worried because I don't need these to cause a heavy shed I use rosemary shampoo very healthy no junk in it and a light massager in the shower .I don't drink or smoke.No stress last 2 years after a good place to live. I went from losing 50 to less than 80 a day to like 200 I'm under no stress I'm retired living in Florida. I'm pissed this made me start shedding this bad .The price is too much to sit and wait a year which I have had no regrowth at all.I purposely did not dye my hair for 3 months to see if new growth was there.Nope grey hair same and dyed hair same color where roots meet dyed hair.No hair sticking up nothing on my edges . I bought This for my wife on black friday. It's already noticeably working.Her hair is shedding less and feels And looks thicker. It's quite amazing , and I hope it continues. She's over the moon as her thinning hair was causing her quite a bit of consternation previously.

I have generally bought medium priced supplements in the past but now that I'm in my 70s I've been having some allergic reactions to popular brands. Recently I decided to use the best brand that I could find and I made the investment first by trying Nutrafol. Instead of taking the advised amount of 4 per day, I had a substantial lunch and took one capsule and I had no reaction at all - great beginning! Then within 3 hours I had broken out in hives. I hope these allergies are rare and this is the mildest reaction I've had, but if you suspect the possibility just go very slowly.

I have only had this supplement for less than a week, the 45 and older version. I would caution those over 45 who are on any type of hormone replacement. Per my experience I have learned about Maca, that is in this version but not the 45 and younger. My hormone Dr recommended this as a good hair growth supplement, not realizing there was this version. I started having warm flushes, super oily skin, and anxiety/jittery feel on day 2, of a starting out, reduced dose. Started researching the ingredients and mace seems to be the issue. I called my Dr, and indeed, stop taking dt the maca. I have ordered the 45 and younger version, since this is supposed to be an effective supplement, hopefully it will be. But I thought to review for many of us over 45 on some form of hrt, who this may not be a good option for. I would have appreciated a warning about this on the label, would have saved me some unpleasant symptoms and extra money. But, I'm not knocking it over all, giving the younger version a try when my new order comes in. Good luck ladies! I wanted to update, 4/9/2024, I've been taking this, 45+, 2 caps with 2 caps of the 45 and younger version. Stopped my dhea supplement I was on, all with my Dr's approval. First, my hormones are doing really great on this with maca, now that the dhea is stopped. Better than on dhea. I feel great too! But let's get to the hair. At first I was not sure much was happening, even at 3 months, nope, not sure. But I think it's 6 months or so now, and I'm sure my hair is thickening back up, so it is working for me, not without some initial issues, but I found the right combo for myself, 4 caps a day, 2, 45+, 2 ,45 and under. Hormones and hair doing better. I agree, expensive, but I've decided, worth it to me, and will continue for hair and hormones in my perimenopause world!
