Great strong hair tie for thick heavy hair. I love it when I can find natural products that actually work and can compete with popular brands

I wanted try Terra Ties because they are biodegradable and I DO see them on the ground all the time. But now that I’ve tried them, I like them for other reasons, too. First of all they are SO soft. They just feel nicer than other hair ties I’ve used. They stay in my hair better too, even when I exercise — and my hair is pretty thick. But even though they hold better on my hair, they didn’t break my hair (yay!) or make my scalp hurt from pulling too hard. And when I put them on my wrist they’re not too tight. They seem pretty strong too. I’ve had other hair ties break, but these didn’t break OR stretch out when I pulled on them (just to see, haha). So happy with these!

Work well. Have good stretch to them. Strong rubber smell but eventually airs out.

Decent product. They stretch a bit from use but after daily use I still have plenty of unused bands left.

I've reused the first one out of the package since I received these so durability is solid, and I have been very pleased with how they have performed holding hair and not pulling out hair when being removed. The seam is a touch on the rough side, but that is not atypical for most hairbands. I love that these are not plastic based and that they can perform at the level expected.

I have medium thickness hair, but I think they would be great with thick hair too. Thin hair they might be too big. Love that these are environmentally friendly, or more so than the cheapy ones that fall apart constantly. They hold my hair up really well without being super tight and causing headaches. I have purchased these a few times and will continue to do so.

Durable thicker hair ties

First off, there's a sharp edge to where the hair tie was sealed together, it often scrapes against my skin as I put it on. Doesn't break skin or anything, but I shouldn't feel any scratching when putting a hair tie on. Secondly, they lose elasticity really quickly. Within a week or so of use, it's already twice as large as how it came, and I need to wrap it an extra time which is causing it to stretch out even more. I do love that they are biodegradable because I tend to lose these things a lot when out and about. The material itself is pretty comfortable and sturdy, but the elastic in it is not.
