At £12.99 this product was more than I wanted to spend on a light shade. I read the reviews and decided that despite 'flimsy' butterflies I would give it a try and I am glad that I did.I bought it in white for my little ones room as I was going to use an led smart bulb in the room and thought the white would look great and it does.The butterflies were not flimsy, I found the quite robust.I am glad that I read the reviews that said to put the small ones on first as they're right it would have been a fiddly nightmare to put them on 2nd as instructed.

I bought this for my baby girl's nursery, and I'm so glad I did! The butterflies are really pretty pastel colours, I've not seen any other light shade like it with the 3D effect kinda thing, and at a good price. Yes, you have to put it together, but it's really simple to do. It took me maybe 10/15 minutes and that was because my inner artist was trying to get all the colours arranged nicely haha! I agree with other reviews on here, the instructions say to put the larger butterflies on first, but put the smaller ones on first or it's slightly more fiddly to do. I might buy the white version next for my living room, highly recommend!

Arrived today. When I emptied the flat pack contents I thought I'd made a mistake buying it. Once I had assembled it I was really pleased. It truly transforms from a caterpillar to a butterfuly once assembled.

I bought this product to put up in the twin/child’s bedroom in our foreign apartment. It’s perfect to pack into a suitcase/hand luggage as it’s completely flat packed for assembly (about 12cm x 10cm package size) at the point it’s going to be installed. It was easy to assemble and looks about 100 times better that the 15 year old(!!) Chinese lantern style light shades we’d had up. I would recommend this for a value for money and stylish improvement for a light shade.

The dimensions are listed but I still assumed those dimensions are chosen because they are appropriate for a ceiling pendant. Instead it's really rather small! However my toddler is delighted with it.The materials are just flimsy plastic, like a milk bottle, but I guess this is all that's needed for this application.

I never write reviews but I just had to for this light shade. I bought it for my two year old daughter's bedroom. It is absolutely stunning, so pretty and delicate looking. It also lessens the white brightness of the light bulb, which is great as it gives a calmer light effect to the room. I would definitely recommend this shade. I love it!

When I opened and saw I had to put together, I was a little dismayed BUT when I did and put it up and put the light on, I was so pleased. The seller's pictures do not do justice to seeing the light "in the flesh". Very pleased.

After reading other reviews I expected this to be hard to assemble. It wasn't. With a bit of care I did two shades in ten minutes or so. The instructions are nice and clear (simple). The shades are the perfect size for a small living room or a bedroom. Very lightweight. Look much better up than in the packaging. They come completely with a ring to attach to a standard ring fitting.
