I have the willow tree nativity set and have used it for years. All of my pieces were gifts from my husband and grown children. I've also collected many others through the years. We put more and more out for our Christmas tableau. And, no, they don't all fit the historical time frame but we think it's a splendid idea to have people of all ages and time periods to worship Him at this time of year. For a pregnant Mary (before Christmas morning) we have been using Cherish. And, of course, Mary and the Christ child on Christmas morning. Our dilemma has been how to get our Magi involved since they didn't show up until Jesus was a young child. And they couldn't have followed the star until He was born and the new star appeared. I needed a Mary with a child, not an infant. We liked this sculpture to use for the "child" since Willow tree didn't have a toddler. This is such a beautiful piece.

We have owned one of these for many years and I love these in my home. They are beautifully made, and if tied to a memory or event, they carry so much meaning.

I have loved Willow tree figurines for about 30 years. My children are 27 to 33 and when each was born, I picked a figurine. The one that was for my youngest son, had fallen one too many times and both our heads had fallen off lol, so I ordered this as a replacement. It came on time, was well packed, and it was nice not to have to glue our heads back on. These are timeless and represent very special things to me.

I bought this as a gift. I love Willow Tree figurines, but am particular about the hair color. I bought two paint colors and added to both figures. It turned out great, and my daughter loved it!

This was the very first Willow Tree I ever got my wife. I thought it was very symbolic of her relationship with my son. He is my biological son that I have custody of. I was deployed to Iraq when my original wife left me and my son high and dry after I returned home. I soon met my current wife and she quickly helped me raise my son. Women just have a way with little boys and they immediately grew a bond. Soon after we celebrated our first Christmas and I got her this. Needless to say she teared up when she saw it. Ever since then I have bought them for her on her birthdays, mother's days and Christmases. They never seem to fail. Now, let's get to the quality. These are very well made and have a kind of rugged beauty to them. They are very well defined and do an excellent job of capturing that mother-son bond. This particular one is very good size. It stands about 9 to 10 inches tall and very sturdy. I knock it over off the mantle and it withstood, though I don't recommend getting to rough with it. I fully recommend this as a gift for mothers and grandmothers. They make these for all walks of life, genders and ages. Guys be smart, buy these for your ladies.
