Great shield for cataract surgery
I purchased the tinted shield for cataract surgery, to protect my eyes from the bright light after surgery. The shield along with my sunglasses should provide adequate protection for my eyes and COVID. After taking it out of the box I was a bit intimidated, so I went to youtube for a video on how to put the shield together. There is an owner manual in the box, but I learn better from videos. When I received the mask I was surprised how sturdy the mask was with the headgear, yet light. The shield was comfortable on my head along with the different head size adjustments available just by pushing in the Ratchet knob on the back of the headgear. There is a tilt adjustment that works well for going into medical facilities whereby they can take your temperature. You can even adjust how far your face is from the lens. I had room for my glasses, along with my mask. Plus the shield did not fog, another big plus. I highly recommend this mask and will wear it after my cataract surgery.

Well made and comfortable
Out of the box you snap the lens in (five seconds) and turn the knob on the back for crown fit adjustment. Took all of ten seconds to be comfortable. There are other micro adjustments you can make, but 'as is' works fine for me. I have a big head (7 5/8) and this fits just fine over a backwards baseball cap with plenty of adjustment to spare. Quality is good. Doesn't have that rinky dink feel that some of the off-shore knockoff products do. This is critical safety gear, don't skimp! Head gear is comfortable and easy to adjust. Lens is thick and durable and easily replaceable. Tinted lenses are available for outdoor work. My main use is in a shop for various grinding purposes. Some here have mentioned the lens isn't very scratch resistant. Being plastic it really can't be. It helps to clean the lens with a microfiber, which is something that isn't going to scrape grit across it and make it worse. Overall five stars. Absolutely beats a trip to the ER when your cutoff wheel explodes and sends shrapnel flying towards your face at 8000 rpm.

Great shield for healthcare workers
Update: it is now over a year and unfortunately I had to take my shield out of retirement. The shield has held up after multiple cleanings, drops and covid patients. I am still using the original shield. I have added a couple of stickers to make it my own. I still recommend it. I've been using this shield for about 3 weeks now and I have to say it's great. I am an ICU nurse and taking care of covid patients and this shield makes you have some piece of mind. Covers the whole face, its clear, and it's not so bulky that it gets in the way of nursing care. So far it hasn't scratched, but I try to take care of it as much as I can. I use hospital anti bacterial wipes ( cavy wipes and some with bleach) and the shield stays clear. I do clean it with soap and water after the wipes because they do leave a residue. There a lot of adjustments which help you adjust it to your liking. It's not so heavy, I always have it on top of my head in case I have to respond to a code. I guess if the shield ever scratches, you can always get a replacement, which is an added bonus. Highly recommend it if you can find it stock. I guess I was one of the lucky ones to find it in stock. Get one, you won't regret it.

Finally found a high quality face shield with exceptional functionality.
I use this face shield for eye and face protection while using a chain saw and a powered pole saw. The shield is very comfortable for all day wear and has great adjustability that stays where you set it. The washable padded sweatband is a big plus. The shield won't fog over on hot humid days like safety glasses and goggles do. The shield lifts easily to catch a cooling breeze between saw cuts. As for the usual logger's hard hat, my experience is that the shield's headgear is sturdy enough to offer partial head protection and I don't miss the protection of ear muffs because my saws are all electric.

Looks like a good, durable face shield for Healthcare workers but with a HEAVY price
Likes: forehead band has foam cushion so it is really comfortable against my forehead. I like that you can swivel it up and down and you can adjust how tight you want the head band to be so that it fits nicely in your head. I dont feel claustrophobic like with other typical Healthcare faceshields as theres adequate space between the shield and my face. It also doesn't fog up the shield. I like how the plastic piece is hard and I'm sure it will last for a while if cared for properly. Do not rest it on rough surfaces so prevent scratches. Dislikes: Assembly took me a while. I was afraid the side hinges would break the openings on the side of the clear plastic piece, but it didn't. The main gripe I have is that it is really heavy. I wore it for about 15 minutes and i could feel my neck and my head being uncomfortable from its weight. I haven't worn it to work yet so I will see if it's tolerable. It's definitely not scratch resistant. The brand name display is really ugly as it's in the middle of the front of the outer headpiece but that's just my preferences. It's an easy fix, I can probably put some decals/sticker to cover it. I will update my review if the weight issue is not tolerable for me.

Great Face Shield for Battling Coronavirus in Hospital Setting
I saw this face shield on a couple of YouTube videos from health care workers dealing firsthand with the coronavirus in the hospital setting. It has now been mandated by the hospital I currently work in to wear a face shield or potentially face disciplinary measures. I needed something that was lightweight, easy to use, easy to see through and affordable. This shield is all of that! I barely feel it throughout the day and I can adjust it when necessary. It is as promised and it makes me feel safe. The face shield I was given by the hospital was flimsy and too tight on my temples. This mask works perfectly and can adjust to any size head (it has multiple adjustment points). I highly recommend getting this mask to any hospital worker on the frontlines of this pandemic. I also paid extra for the anti-fog shield and it works well.

Used as COVID PPE: Very comfortable! Eye strain relief!! Potential as reusable adaptive PPE
My workplace is requiring masks and face shields to be worn daily, since I work closely with people who may be immunocompromised. Cheap, disposable shields caused me a lot of eye strain trying to see through the warped and clouded plastic. I am especially sensitive to this, and I usually get headaches from cheap safety glasses and sunglasses. With this shield, I am headache free all day unless I wear it in front of a computer. This makes the flip-up feature extra helpful! There's some glare in certain lightings, but overall the plastic replaceable part is very clear and does not distort your vision at all. If you are vulnerable to this kind of eye strain, there is a solution! Comfort and fit wise, this thing is way better than I could have ever expected. It's quite light and balances itself well in the middle of your head, even when the shield is flipped up. Fit is adjustable and should accommodate a lot of different head sizes. The push and turn adjustment knob is great, it doesn't slip and can't be knocked loose easily. It can also be adjusted while you are wearing it. Clearly, this thing is made to be worn for long hours in uncomfortable working conditions. I appreciate that the sweatband can be removed and washed, even replaced, unlike foam bands that just become acne factories. I found it easy to slip over a ponytail, but if your hair is very textured this might be more difficult. At first I wasn't sure about getting something this industrial looking for daily wear when my coworkers were wearing plastic visors. Once I tried it on, it was so comfortable that I didn't even care what it looked like. It doesn't have the bulk of a hardhat or a welding helmet. I can even fit a pair of around-ear headphones over the top, but they sit a bit strange. If you can't wear a mask for sensory reasons, this could be a viable alternative since it is so much more comfortable than other face shield options. It could also be an option for people with other disabilities that make it unsafe to wear a cloth mask, with the added benefit of being easy to put on and adjust with limited mobility. Not recommended if your disability affects your ability to hold your head upright. Oh! An added bonus is that you can talk at a normal volume and be heard through the plastic!! This has been a big issue with the other shields I've used. Great if you're using a face shield to be more accessible to folks who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Item is a fine product but the instructions were terrible.
The shield was a sturdy well made (in America!!) piece of equipment. I bought it for use with my chain saw and the shield is thick enough to make me feel that much safer. My issue was with the instructions to disassemble or assemble the plastic shield to the head piece. They were as helpful as they could have been because the illustrations were very small. Step 5, the most important one for putting it back together when you disassemble it to attach the shield. was difficult to read because the illustration was so small that it was hard to discern which piece went on which side. All the pieces weren't the same and when taking it apart, if you didn't carefully separate the pieces by each side - which I didn't, it was hard to see them in enough detail in the diagram to tell pieces apart. The explanation could have been a bit more detailed to make sure you put them together in the right order and orientation. I had a large magnifying glass to assist me and that still wasn't good enough to tell some pieces apart in the exploded diagram. It was that small! I gave it a 5 star rating but I was going to give it a 4 star rating because I was still a bit angry about how long it took me to get it back together. But, overall, decided the product overall deserved the 5 stars. Hopefully, Lincoln Electric can address the instruction issue in the future. All it really needs are somewhat larger pictures, especially for step #5, and a few more words.
